- • As a Senior Data Scientist at Risepoint Holdings LLC, you will own the intelligence layer that powers student engagement across the entire learner journey, leading end-to-end AI/ML initiatives that directly impact retention, enrollment, and success for thousands of working adult students in partnership with over 100 universities.
- • You will lead predictive model development and deployment—including churn risk, engagement propensity, and success likelihood—using MLOps tools like Databricks, MLFlow, dbt, and Dagster, while partnering with engineering and CX teams to operationalize 'next best experience' logic at scale.
- • You will drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, and Customer Experience teams, mentoring teammates, raising technical standards, and owning outcomes from scoping through production deployment and impact measurement.
- • You will design and lead A/B testing programs, translate complex findings into executive narratives, and continuously improve model performance through feedback loops, ensuring data science translates into tangible student outcomes and institutional impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8+ years of applied machine learning or data science experience, ideally in education, consumer tech, personalization, or complex behavioral domains
- • Proven track record of delivering measurable business impact through end-to-end AI/ML initiative leadership, including scoping, implementation, and outcome ownership
- • Deep expertise in Python and SQL, with proficiency in ML libraries (scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or PyTorch) and hands-on experience with MLOps stack (Databricks, MLFlow, dbt, Dagster)
- • Strong background in predictive analytics, recommendation systems, and experimentation (A/B testing, causal inference, uplift modeling)
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline (computer science, statistics, econometrics, mathematics, or engineering)
