Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Join the Data Science team that sits at the heart of our AI-first strategy, turning 25 years of engineering excellence into predictive products that serve 500+ active projects for HBO, Microsoft, Google, and Starbucks. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of machine-learning models that influence the daily experience of hundreds of millions of users.
  • • Architect and productionize large-scale recommender systems, NLP pipelines, and computer-vision models that run on petabyte-scale data lakes built on AWS, GCP, and Azure. Your code will be deployed through Kubernetes clusters and monitored with real-time drift-detection to guarantee sub-second latency and 99.9 % uptime.
  • • Partner directly with C-suite stakeholders at Fortune 500 clients to translate business pain points into data-science hypotheses. You will lead discovery workshops, design statistically rigorous A/B tests, and present findings to boards that decide nine-figure product roadmaps.
  • • Mentor a distributed pod of 4–6 data scientists and ML engineers located across North America, Europe, and APAC. Your weekly architecture reviews and pair-programming sessions will raise the bar for code quality, experimentation discipline, and ethical AI practices across the 2,000-person organization.
  • • Drive the technical roadmap for MLOps, championing automated retraining pipelines, feature stores, and model-registry standards that cut deployment time from weeks to hours. You will evaluate bleeding-edge tooling (Vertex AI, SageMaker Pipelines, Feast, Tecton) and make buy-vs-build decisions that shape our platform for the next five years.
  • • Establish and track OKRs that link model performance to revenue impact—think uplift in subscription conversions, reduction in customer churn, or savings from predictive maintenance. You will publish quarterly dashboards that give executives transparent insight into ROI and technical debt.
  • • Contribute to open-source projects and speak at global conferences (NeurIPS, KDD, ODSC) under the company banner, reinforcing our reputation as thought leaders while attracting top-tier talent to your future teams.
  • • Champion responsible AI by embedding fairness constraints, explainability layers, and privacy-preserving techniques into every model. You will sit on the internal AI Ethics Council and review all high-risk use cases before they reach production.
  • • Collaborate with our award-winning UX researchers and product designers to turn complex model outputs into intuitive, trustworthy user interfaces. You will run user-studies that measure comprehension, trust, and behavioral change, iterating until data-driven insights feel effortless.
  • • Stay ahead of the curve by allocating 20 % of your time to R&D sprints that explore emerging techniques such as diffusion models, causal-inference-driven uplift modeling, and federated learning across distributed edge devices.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 6+ years of hands-on experience building, deploying, and maintaining machine-learning models in cloud-native production environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • • Expert-level proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and SQL; fluency in Spark or BigQuery for distributed data processing.
  • • Proven track record of designing and running statistically valid experiments (A/B, multivariate, causal-inference) that generated measurable business impact exceeding $5 M ARR.
  • • Deep knowledge of MLOps best practices—CI/CD for ML, feature stores, model monitoring, and automated retraining pipelines.
  • • Exceptional storytelling and stakeholder-management skills; comfortable presenting complex technical concepts to non-technical executives and securing buy-in for strategic initiatives.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Fully remote-first culture with quarterly, all-expenses-paid team summits in destinations such as Lisbon, Kyoto, and CancĂşn.
  • • Annual $5,000 professional-development stipend for courses, conferences, and certifications, plus five dedicated learning days per quarter.
  • • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage for you and your dependents, including 100 % employer-paid premiums and zero-deductible plans.
  • • Equity participation in a profitable, 25-year-old company that has never taken outside funding—your shares grow with every new Fortune 500 client win.
