• • Senior Data Scientist role focused on building machine learning models for credit eligibility and pricing across five African markets, directly shaping lending strategy for millions of underserved customers.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include building and refining credit scoring and risk models, developing ML solutions for loan eligibility and pricing through A/B testing, improving eligibility criteria via repayment data analysis and feature engineering, and collaborating cross-functionally to scale models into production.
• • Part of a small, high-performing Credit & Underwriting team within M-KOPA Holdings Limited, a mission-driven fintech recognized by TIME 100 and the Financial Times for transforming financial inclusion across Africa.
