- • Own the full lifecycle of data-driven optimization for one of the world’s largest programmatic ad exchanges, processing hundreds of billions of ad requests and petabytes of fresh data every single day.
- • Identify, quantify, and prioritize the highest-impact levers for yield improvement across publisher inventory and buyer efficiency—turning raw, high-velocity data into clear, actionable roadmaps that move core business KPIs.
- • Design, launch, and analyze rigorous A/B, multivariate, and switchback experiments at scale; build automated monitoring and alerting so that statistically significant uplifts (or degradations) are surfaced to stakeholders within minutes, not days.
- • Partner daily with Product, Engineering, Marketplace Operations, and Executive leadership to translate complex statistical findings into crisp narratives that influence roadmap decisions, budget allocations, and long-term strategy.
- • Build and maintain production-grade Python and SQL pipelines on Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Dataflow, Composer) that transform chaotic log-level data into clean, reliable, analysis-ready datasets—then push the boundaries of what “analysis-ready” means for petabyte-scale problems.
- • Develop predictive models and causal-inference frameworks that forecast auction dynamics, detect anomalous supply or demand patterns, and recommend real-time pricing or traffic-shaping actions that can shift millions of dollars in revenue.
- • Champion a culture of evidence-based decision making by mentoring junior analysts, leading internal “lunch-and-learns,” and publishing reproducible notebooks that become the canonical reference for how we understand our marketplace.
- • Drive automation initiatives that eliminate manual toil—turning yesterday’s ad-hoc investigations into tomorrow’s self-service dashboards, alerting systems, and machine-learning micro-services.
- • Stay relentlessly curious about the digital advertising ecosystem (DSP behaviors, SSP auction mechanics, header bidding, privacy regulations) and translate external market shifts into internal experimentation hypotheses.
