- • Lead end-to-end test planning for software releases across multiple backend and platform services teams supporting iRhythm’s cardiac monitoring platform.
- • Define release-level test scope, strategy, timelines, and release milestones to ensure timely and quality-driven delivery.
- • Drive alignment on dependencies, priorities, testing environments, and release readiness across cross-functional teams.
- • Identify quality risks early in the development lifecycle and implement mitigation plans to prevent release blockers.
- • Escalate critical quality concerns and release blockers to stakeholders with clear, data-backed recommendations.
- • Lead verification strategies that combine manual and automated testing efforts, with a focus on API and integration testing for backend platform services.
- • Champion initiatives to reduce manual testing effort by expanding automated test coverage and improving testing efficiency.
- • Organize, track, and report on testing progress and outcomes using tools such as Jira and Jama.
- • Collaborate closely with Software Development and DevOps teams to build and maintain resilient continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- • Contribute to processes that align with the medical device software development lifecycle and regulatory compliance expectations.
- • Ensure all testing activities and documentation meet accuracy and compliance standards required for medical device software.
- • Guide a team of SDETs embedded in backend-focused teams, shaping the development and execution of automated testing solutions.
- • Build scalable test frameworks to support the cardiac monitoring device lifecycle, from device integration to cloud-based data analytics.
- • Communicate quality status, risks, and priorities clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
- • Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, team effectiveness, and quality culture across the organization.
- • Maintain accurate, compliant documentation that supports audit readiness and regulatory requirements for medical device software.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience in test automation and software testing, with strong expertise in validating complex software systems and releases
- • Proficiency with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, TestNG)
- • Fluency in object-oriented programming languages, especially Java or C#
- • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
- • Proven experience leading testing efforts for large-scale software releases or cross-functional development programs
- • Demonstrated ability to coordinate testing activities across multiple teams, manage competing priorities, and drive execution to meet release timelines
