- • As a Senior Data Scientist specializing in NLP and GenAI, you will prototype, iterate, and ship algorithms to production that directly impact marketplace catalog challenges, including automatic rewriting of marketing content, product attribute extraction, variant detection, categorization, automated seller onboarding, product merging, and trend prediction—driving revenue growth, operational efficiency, and user safety for Mirakl’s global ecosystem of 450+ marketplaces and 100k+ third-party sellers.
- • Day to day, you will analyze and prepare data, prototype algorithms using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and LLMs; collaborate with Data Engineers and software teams to deploy models into production; build dashboards for performance monitoring; present findings at weekly data science meetings; and partner with Product and other teams to refine use cases and integration paths.
- • You will join Mirakl’s Data team of 60+ professionals, working within a global tech organization with dual headquarters in Boston and Paris, 750+ employees across 9 offices, and a strong engineering culture rooted in values like working hard together, getting things done, going above and beyond, succeeding through expertise, and satisfying and empowering clients.

🎯 Requirements
- • At least 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist with strong hands-on NLP and applied ML in industry
- • Proven experience deploying Machine Learning algorithms to production
- • Fluency in Python and either TensorFlow or PyTorch
- • Experience with Spark development
- • Knowledge of NLP and Computer Vision algorithms and state-of-the-art architectures (e.g., Transformers); familiarity with latest LLMs is a plus
- • Pragmatic, data-driven, and business-oriented mindset with a track record of taking ownership and working autonomously while being a strong team player
