- • Serve as the primary point of contact for complex deal structuring across land, expand, and renewal opportunities, ensuring alignment between Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Finance teams.
- • Execute end-to-end deal desk ticket resolution with accuracy and speed, managing contract terms, pricing models, discount approvals, and compliance requirements for enterprise-level agreements.
- • Own the operational lifecycle of deal desk processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing scalable improvements to reduce cycle time and increase deal velocity.
- • Develop and maintain standardized deal frameworks, playbooks, and guardrails to ensure consistent, compliant, and revenue-optimized deal structures across all customer segments.
- • Collaborate with Sales to pre-qualify deal terms prior to contract drafting, reducing back-and-forth and enabling faster close cycles through upfront clarity on pricing, licensing, and contractual obligations.
- • Analyze deal data to surface trends in discounting, contract length, and renewal terms, providing actionable insights to improve pricing strategy and customer retention.
- • Partner with Legal to ensure all deal terms adhere to company policy and regulatory standards while balancing commercial flexibility and risk mitigation.
- • Drive automation initiatives by identifying manual, repetitive tasks within the deal desk workflow and proposing technical or process-based solutions to increase efficiency.
- • Maintain accurate records of all deal terms, approvals, and exceptions in CRM and deal desk systems, ensuring audit readiness and reporting accuracy.
- • Act as a subject matter expert on deal desk operations, providing training and guidance to Sales and Customer Success teams on proper deal structuring practices and policy adherence.
- • Support quarterly and annual forecasting by providing clean, reliable data on deal pipeline, discounting patterns, and contract terms to Finance and Revenue teams.
- • Balance commercial agility with operational rigor, ensuring that deal structures support immediate revenue goals while protecting long-term customer value and company margins.
- • Proactively identify risks in deal terms—such as non-standard clauses, over-discounting, or misaligned licensing—and escalate or resolve them before contract execution.
- • Contribute to the continuous evolution of the Deal Desk function by recommending new tools, templates, and workflows that enhance scalability and reduce manual effort.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with Achievers’ product offerings, pricing tiers, and licensing models to accurately structure deals that align with product capabilities and customer needs.
- • Ensure all deal documentation is complete, compliant, and properly archived in accordance with internal governance standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in a Deal Desk, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations role supporting enterprise SaaS sales cycles
- • Strong understanding of SaaS pricing models, contract terms, discounting frameworks, and renewal structures
- • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex deal data and translate insights into process improvements
- • Experience collaborating with Legal, Finance, and Sales teams to structure and approve high-value deals
- • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and deal management or contract lifecycle tools
- • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy and attention to detail
