  • • The Senior Deal Desk Analyst at Fivetran plays a critical role in accelerating revenue by ensuring accurate, compliant, and timely deal processing across Sales, Finance, and Legal teams, directly supporting the company’s mission to make data access as simple and reliable as electricity.
  • • This role is essential for maintaining deal velocity and operational excellence in a high-volume, enterprise-focused SaaS environment, where precision in quoting, contracting, and revenue recognition impacts financial reporting and customer trust.
  • • Day to day, the analyst will act as a liaison between sellers and cross-functional teams including sales ops, finance, product, sales leadership, and legal to facilitate timely and accurate deal closure.
  • • They will manage complex, nonstandard, predominantly enterprise deals involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment on deal structures that meet customer needs while maximizing ARR.
  • • The analyst will provide guidance to Account Executives and Sales Management on deal structures to optimize revenue recognition compliance and business outcomes.
  • • They will partner with Finance and Legal to craft contractual language that adheres to revenue recognition policies and operational standards.
  • • Managing quote and contract approval workflows for pricing, discounts, and special terms using Deal Desk guidelines and Salesforce CPQ and Ironclad systems is a core responsibility.
  • • The role includes maintaining agreed-upon SLAs on approvals and deal review times to ensure process efficiency and predictability.
  • • Participation in month-end and quarter-end closing activities ensures completeness and accuracy of contracts, order forms, and related documentation for financial reporting.
  • • The analyst will contribute to training initiatives for new quote and contracting processes across the sales organization.
  • • They will identify and support process improvement opportunities to streamline current Deal Desk procedures.
  • • Cross-training with other Deal Desk functions enables global coverage of quote, contracting, and order management tasks.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Experience working directly with high volume as well as complex sales teams in a supportive capacity
  • • Proven success in SaaS/B2B Industry, Deal Desk, or Sales Operations supporting large enterprise customers/prospects
  • • Expertise in navigating revenue recognition requirements in private/publicly held companies, including experience partnering with Revenue leadership on deal structures optimizing revenue recognition compliance
  • • Experience advising sales on complex deal structures, contract terms, and pricing strategies
  • • Prior deal desk or sales operations experience required
  • • Ability to work extended hours at end of month and end of quarter
  • • Experience using Salesforce, Salesforce CPQ, and Ironclad or comparable CLM software
  • • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • • Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal business units
  • • Strong customer service skills and a great attitude
