- • As a Senior Developer Advocate focused on the Partner Ecosystem at Deepgram, you will serve as the critical technical bridge connecting Deepgram's advanced voice AI platform with the essential tools and platforms that developers utilize daily. Your primary mission is to guarantee an exceptional experience for developers who discover Deepgram through our partner integrations, ensuring seamless working integrations, crystal-clear documentation, a vibrant community presence, and an accelerated path to production. This involves architecting and delivering high-fidelity integration recipes, cultivating deep, collaborative relationships with partner engineering and Developer Relations (DevRel) teams, and meticulously auditing the entire developer journey across each partner stack. You are a "First Builder" who excels at tackling the intricate challenges inherent in integrating real-time voice AI into diverse partner platforms. Furthermore, you are a compelling storyteller, adept at transforming complex technical work into engaging content that guides developers from initial curiosity to full production deployment.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide range of impactful activities. You will architect, develop, and open-source comprehensive, runnable examples that effectively showcase Deepgram's capabilities within prominent partner stacks such as Pipecat, Livekit, and AWS. Each of these "recipes" will include fully functional code, a detailed guide tailored specifically for the partner's developer audience, and active coordination to ensure its prominent inclusion in partner documentation. A significant part of your role involves auditing and mapping the Partner Developer Experience (DX). This means immersing yourself in each partner integration from a developer's perspective, covering discovery, documentation, setup, and the initial API call, meticulously documenting every point of friction encountered. You will produce detailed gap analyses that categorize what is functioning well, what requires improvement or is outdated, and what is entirely missing, using these insights to drive prioritization of development efforts. You will also own and nurture partner relationships, building and maintaining ongoing connections with partner engineering and DevRel teams. This includes establishing regular check-in cadences, gaining a deep understanding of their product roadmaps, and actively negotiating opportunities for co-documentation and joint content creation. Acting as the "Zero-Index" Sensor for Partners is crucial; you will be the first customer for every partner integration, identifying issues, confusing elements, or missing components before they impact a wider audience and routing them to the appropriate internal teams, be it Product, Engineering, or Docs. You will synthesize cross-functional intelligence by gathering signals from Field Engineering, Go-To-Market (GTM) teams, Product, and partner contacts, maintaining living partner context documents that capture relationship status, ongoing workstreams, commitments, identified gaps, and future next steps. Your presence will be felt in partner communities, where you will be a known and helpful contributor in spaces like Discord, Slack, and forums, answering Deepgram-related questions, sharing your work, and actively listening to gather vital signals. You will produce "Code-First" content, including deep-dive articles, video walkthroughs, and "build-in-public" documentation that clearly illustrates how to orchestrate Deepgram with partner platforms, frameworks, and real-time protocols. You will be instrumental in raising the bar for partner work by documenting repeatable playbooks for partner engagement, enabling the team to scale these efforts effectively. You will also mentor teammates on partner integration patterns and foster cross-ecosystem thinking. Your impact will be framed around tangible developer outcomes, tracking partner integration health through key metrics like Activation and Adoption, and connecting your work to measurable results such as trial conversions from partner channels and integration completion rates. Finally, you will engage in strategic travel and outreach, dedicating approximately 25% of your time to leading workshops, co-presenting at partner events (including partner conferences and co-hosted meetups), and speaking at AI conferences to cultivate in-person relationships across various ecosystems.
- • Deepgram is the leading platform powering the burgeoning trillion-dollar Voice AI economy, offering real-time APIs for speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and the development of production-grade voice agents at scale. Over 200,000 developers and more than 1,300 organizations leverage Deepgram's technology to build their voice offerings, with notable clients including Twilio, Cloudflare, Sierra, Decagon, Vapi, Daily, Cresta, Granola, and Jack in the Box. Deepgram's voice-native foundation models are accessible via cloud APIs or as self-hosted and on-premises software, delivering unparalleled accuracy, low latency, and cost efficiency. The company has processed over 50,000 years of audio and transcribed more than 1 trillion words, solidifying its position as the foremost authority in voice technology globally. The company operates with an "AI-first" mindset, expecting all team members to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, integrating them into their daily workflows and measuring performance based on AI application effectiveness. This approach fosters rapid innovation and adaptation in a fast-paced environment.
- • In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to significantly influence the developer experience within Deepgram's partner ecosystem. You will gain deep insights into the integration challenges and best practices across a variety of leading platforms, becoming an expert in orchestrating real-time voice AI with other technologies. You can expect to hone your skills in technical content creation, community engagement, and strategic relationship management. By developing repeatable playbooks and mentoring colleagues, you will contribute to scaling the Developer Advocacy function. Your work will directly impact developer adoption and product success, providing a clear path to see your contributions translate into measurable business outcomes and industry recognition. You will be at the forefront of the Voice AI revolution, working with cutting-edge technology and shaping the future of how developers build with voice.
