📋 Description

• As a Senior Developer Advocate at n8n, you will be at the heart of a vibrant, global community of automation, no-code, and open-source enthusiasts, playing a pivotal role in shaping how developers and builders discover, adopt, and scale their workflows using n8n’s AI-powered orchestration platform. Your work will directly influence product adoption, community growth, and brand advocacy in a mission-driven company that empowers technical teams to automate smarter and faster.
• You will engage daily with the community across platforms like Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, Discord, blogs, and live events, offering support, education, and mentorship while building authentic relationships with power users and contributors. Your role involves designing and executing community initiatives—including virtual meetups, livestreams, tutorial videos, blog posts, online courses, and strategic partnerships—to nurture growth, foster inclusivity, and amplify the voices of builders worldwide.
• You will serve as the critical bridge between the community and internal teams, gathering feedback from users and translating it into actionable insights for engineering, product, and marketing to ensure n8n evolves in alignment with real-world needs and emerging trends in automation and AI.
• You will develop and manage strategic partnership opportunities, exploring co-marketing campaigns and integrations that expand n8n’s reach and utility across the tech ecosystem, while monitoring key performance metrics to measure the impact of your initiatives and optimize efforts for maximum community engagement and retention.
• You will represent n8n at industry events, conferences, and online forums as a trusted voice and thought leader, sharing your expertise in no-code, automation, and open-source collaboration to inspire others and strengthen n8n’s position as a Top 40 GitHub project with over 650,000 active builders.
• You will contribute to a culture of learning and growth by creating educational content—such as step-by-step guides, webinars, and interactive workshops—that empowers users of all skill levels to unlock the full potential of n8n, from simple automations to complex AI-driven workflows.
• You will help scale n8n’s community programs globally, leveraging your experience in Developer Relations to design scalable, repeatable processes for onboarding, engaging, and retaining contributors across diverse regions and technical backgrounds.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in technology, with at least 2 years dedicated to Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or community-focused roles in tech.
• Proven experience building and nurturing communities across platforms such as Twitter/X, YouTube, Twitch, Discord, blogs, public speaking events, and in-person meetups.
• Demonstrated passion for automation, no-code tools, and/or open-source software, with a track record of educating and empowering technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills: empathetic, inclusive, warm, enthusiastic, and naturally inclined to teach, mentor, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Experience creating technical content (blogs, videos, tutorials, courses) and presenting at events or livestreams to engage developer audiences.
• Ability to analyze community metrics and feedback to assess initiative effectiveness and drive data-informed improvements.
