• • In this dynamic role, you will serve as a crucial bridge between intricate identity protocols and their practical implementation. You will collaborate with a diverse, global network of engineers, product managers, and fellow developer advocates to conceptualize, research, and produce high-quality, code-centric tutorials and in-depth technical articles that address real-world developer challenges.
• • A key aspect of this position involves acting as an industry sensor, maintaining a keen awareness of the developer community's pulse. You will actively monitor conversations on platforms like Twitter/X, Reddit, and Hacker News to identify emerging trends in identity and security, as well as mentions of Auth0. These insights will be transformed into immediate content opportunities, ranging from crafting insightful replies and timely "hot-take" blog posts to commissioning video explainers or channeling critical feedback to the Product and Marketing teams.
• • Your core responsibility will be to create compelling, developer-first content. This includes planning, researching, and writing technical tutorials, deep dives, and comprehensive "how-to" articles for the Auth0 Blog. The goal is to equip developers with the knowledge and practical examples they need to effectively solve complex identity-related problems in their projects.
• • You will also take on the role of an editor and curator, guiding internal engineers, advocates, and guest contributors. This involves rigorously validating their technical claims, meticulously testing code snippets to ensure accuracy and functionality, and refining their drafts to meet the highest editorial and technical standards. Your input will be instrumental in maintaining the blog's reputation for excellence.
• • To broaden the reach and impact of our educational content, you will identify opportunities for and produce multimedia content, particularly video. This could include creating screencasts, short explainer videos, or other visual formats that effectively complement and enhance the written tutorials, catering to diverse learning preferences.
• • You will own the entire content lifecycle for your assigned topics, from initial concept generation through to publication and ongoing distribution. A critical part of this ownership involves proactively managing and updating high-traffic legacy posts. This ensures that code samples, best practices, and advice remain current, accurate, and relevant, providing continuous value to our audience.
• • Strategic collaboration is essential. You will work closely with Product Managers and Engineers to gain a deep understanding of new feature releases and technical advancements. Your role will be to translate these complex developments into clear, compelling narratives and practical, actionable use cases that resonate with developers.
