đź“‹ Description
- • Census Labs Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team and contribute to our mission of delivering top-tier cybersecurity services to a global clientele. This role is pivotal in designing, deploying, and operating scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure across both cloud and on-premises environments, leveraging modern DevOps and DevSecOps practices. You will be instrumental in enhancing our capabilities and working collaboratively with clients' DevOps, IT, and development teams on long-term, impactful projects.
- • As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your primary focus will be on building and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines. This includes hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub Actions (GHA), GitLab CI, and Jenkins. You will be responsible for automating the entire software development lifecycle, from build and test phases to packaging and deployment, for both cloud applications and, crucially, embedded Android systems. This dual focus requires a versatile skillset and an understanding of the unique challenges presented by embedded development.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves the design, implementation, and maintenance of sophisticated firmware signing systems. This encompasses establishing and managing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including certificate lifecycle management and secure key handling practices. You will be working with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) for secure key storage and operations, integrating these critical security components seamlessly into CI/CD workflows. The ability to automate secure key provisioning, rotation, and access management is paramount to ensuring the integrity and security of our clients' firmware.
- • You will also be tasked with deploying, configuring, and maintaining a suite of essential security tools. This includes implementing and managing Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) solutions to identify vulnerabilities early in the development cycle. Furthermore, you will integrate CVE scanners for dependencies, container images, and firmware components, alongside tools for secret scanning and Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) generation. Your efforts will directly contribute to reducing the attack surface and enhancing the overall security posture of our clients' systems.
- • Ensuring the high availability, disaster recovery, and overall resilience of our infrastructure will be a core responsibility. This involves proactive monitoring, performance tuning, and implementing robust backup and recovery strategies. You will leverage your deep knowledge of Linux systems, networking principles, and secure system architecture to build and maintain infrastructure that is both performant and secure.
- • Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, and security analysts, to foster a culture of shared responsibility for security and operational excellence. You will act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to clients and internal teams on best practices in DevOps and DevSecOps.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud-native technologies and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes, and have experience deploying and managing applications within these environments. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Ansible is essential for managing infrastructure efficiently and reproducibly.
- • This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cybersecurity challenges, contributing to the security of critical systems and platforms for a diverse range of industries, including finance, critical infrastructure, and automotive. Your work will have a tangible impact on protecting organizations from evolving cyber threats.
- • We are looking for an individual who is passionate about automation, security, and building resilient systems. You should be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A willingness to travel for client engagements is also required, reflecting the global nature of our operations.
- • This position is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned DevOps professional to advance their career within a leading cybersecurity firm, contributing to impactful projects and continuously learning and growing in a challenging and rewarding environment.
🎯 Requirements

- • At least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tooling (Terraform, Ansible etc.).
- • Deep knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and secure system architecture.
- • Proven experience with DevSecOps toolchains (SAST, DAST, vulnerability scanning).
- • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- • Proficient in English and great communication skills.
- • Willingness to travel.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive salary and benefits package.
- • Opportunity to work with cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies.
- • Professional development and training opportunities.
