📋 Description

• Design and implement security controls across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and software development workflows to embed security at every stage of the software lifecycle.
• Integrate security testing tools including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management solutions into automated development pipelines.
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for applications, infrastructure, and platform services to identify and mitigate potential security exposures.
• Implement and maintain security controls for cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code, and containerized workloads using industry best practices.
• Develop and automate security and compliance checks to meet regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
• Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams to promote and enforce secure development practices across all product teams.
• Evaluate, implement, and optimize security tooling for application and infrastructure protection, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Mentor engineers on secure development methodologies, DevSecOps principles, and secure coding practices to build organizational security awareness.
• Drive the adoption of DevSecOps culture by collaborating with cross-functional teams to reduce risk while maintaining velocity and innovation.
• Ensure cloud environments on AWS or Azure are secured through configuration management, access controls, and continuous monitoring.
• Automate workflows using Python, Bash, Terraform, or similar technologies to enforce security policies at scale.
• Support the integration of containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) with security controls to protect modern application architectures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security posture by analyzing incidents, refining controls, and updating automation scripts.
• Stay current with emerging threats, security standards, and tooling innovations to enhance the organization’s defensive capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, DevOps, or related engineering roles
• Experience implementing security controls within CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows
• Experience working with AWS or Azure in a production environment
• Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience scripting or automating workflows using Python, Bash, Terraform, or similar technologies
