- • Design and implement security controls across CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and software development workflows to embed security into the entire software lifecycle.
- • Integrate security testing tools including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, and vulnerability management solutions into automated development pipelines.
- • Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for applications, infrastructure, and platform services to identify and mitigate potential security exposures.
- • Implement and maintain security controls for cloud environments, infrastructure-as-code, and containerized workloads using industry best practices.
- • Develop and automate security and compliance checks to meet regulatory requirements and internal security policies.
- • Partner with Engineering, Infrastructure, and Security teams to promote and enforce secure development practices across all product teams.
- • Evaluate, implement, and optimize security tooling for application and infrastructure protection, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- • Mentor engineers on secure development methodologies, DevSecOps principles, and secure coding practices to build organizational security awareness.
- • Drive the adoption of DevSecOps culture by bridging gaps between development, operations, and security functions.
- • Ensure cloud environments on AWS or Azure are secured through proactive configuration, monitoring, and policy enforcement.
- • Automate workflows using Python, Bash, Terraform, or similar technologies to reduce manual effort and increase security consistency.
- • Support the continuous improvement of security posture by analyzing vulnerabilities, incident trends, and tool effectiveness.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally to align security initiatives with business objectives and delivery timelines.
- • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging threats, security standards, and DevSecOps tooling to recommend strategic improvements.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in DevSecOps, Security Engineering, DevOps, or related engineering roles
- • Experience implementing security controls within CI/CD pipelines and software development workflows
- • Experience working with AWS or Azure in a production environment
- • Experience working with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- • Experience scripting or automating workflows using Python, Bash, Terraform, or similar technologies
