📋 Description

• Lead senior client conversations with C-suite executives, transformation leaders, technology leaders, and private equity sponsors on AI-driven value creation.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on AI engagements, building trusted advisory relationships and establishing credibility as a subject-matter expert in applied AI.
• Translate complex AI concepts into clear, business-focused language that articulates impact on revenue, cost, productivity, decision speed, and risk reduction.
• Identify and prioritize practical AI use cases across finance, reporting, operations, sales, marketing, and management decision-making workflows.
• Assess AI opportunities by quantifying commercial and operational value, effort, risk, and time to benefit to guide investment and prioritization decisions.
• Differentiate between AI hype and real business value, guiding clients toward feasible, high-impact solutions that align with their data readiness and strategic priorities.
• Design AI roadmaps that connect business objectives with data infrastructure, technology capabilities, and value creation plans.
• Lead the design and execution of AI proof-of-concepts, prototypes, demos, and reusable accelerators with measurable success criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, and analytics teams to turn AI ideas into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Own the quality of AI deliverables, reviewing outputs before they are shared with clients, sponsors, or Managing Directors.
• Manage project scope, timeline, and delivery approach, identifying risks and blockers early to ensure successful outcomes.
• Supervise distributed teams across the UK, US, and Hyderabad, providing leadership, feedback, and accountability.
• Remain hands-on in solution design and POC development when necessary to drive delivery and maintain technical credibility.
• Advise on enterprise AI platforms including Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, Snowflake Cortex, Databricks, Anthropic Claude, and OpenAI.
• Understand and recommend foundational requirements for safe and scalable AI delivery, including identity, permissions, data lineage, observability, auditability, LLM access patterns, and responsible AI controls.
• Work closely with Data Solutions & Architecture teams to ensure AI use cases are built on robust data foundations, including structured/unstructured data, semantic layers, vector search, and governance.
• Support business development and origination by contributing to lead generation, proposal development, account planning, pitch preparation, and workshop design.
• Identify follow-on opportunities within existing client accounts and support cross-selling across Data, Analytics, Strategic Finance, CFO Tech, and Transformation practices.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, private equity sponsors, and market contacts to expand Accordion’s footprint in the UK and Europe.
• Coach and mentor junior team members on applied AI, client communication, and delivery best practices.
• Contribute to internal training, knowledge sharing, and practice development through reusable frameworks, tools, accelerators, and delivery methods.
• Promote a high-performance, collaborative culture focused on experimentation, pace, quality, and responsible AI delivery across global teams.
• Travel extensively across Europe to engage with clients in relevant jurisdictions.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience in applied AI, machine learning, data science, analytics engineering, automation, or AI-enabled transformation
• Strong understanding of generative AI, LLMs, RAG, agents, workflow automation, prompt engineering, evaluation, and AI solution design
• Experience designing or delivering AI proof-of-concepts, prototypes, demos, or production solutions
• Familiarity with enterprise AI platforms including Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, Snowflake Cortex, Databricks, Anthropic Claude, and OpenAI
• Understanding of data foundations required for AI, including structured/unstructured data, semantic layers, vector search, permissions, and governance
• Experience working with senior clients and translating technical concepts into commercial language
