- • As a Senior Director Analyst specializing in Identity and Access Management (IAM), you will serve as a visionary thought leader and subject matter expert within Gartner’s global Business and Technology Insights (BTI) team, driving the evolution of industry best practices through research, analysis, and client engagement.
- • You will engage with clients daily via phone, videoconference, or live events, conducting research and analysis on IAM technologies and trends to produce actionable insights, author advisory research and reference architecture documents, respond to client inquiries, and deliver presentations at conferences and webinars.
- • You will remain ahead of emerging developments in areas such as access management protocols, agentic AI IAM tools, federated identity, secrets management, identity threat detection and response, privileged access management, identity governance, authorization controls, and decentralized identity mechanisms.
- • You will grow Gartner’s industry leadership by responding to press inquiries, collaborating within a matrixed, multicultural global team, and contributing to the company’s mission of guiding leaders who shape the world through objective, impactful insights.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent experience
- • Minimum of 15 years of relevant field or industry experience, with 12 or more years in technical roles specific to Identity and Access Management
- • Ability to demonstrate technical expert presence and immediately establish credibility with cybersecurity and identity leaders and their teams
- • Strong communication skills, including written and verbal proficiency in English, public speaking acumen, and effective 1:1 client engagement
- • Adept at analyzing and synthesizing data, identifying trends and patterns, and applying frameworks to create new insights
- • Skilled at distilling complex concepts into concise advice and defending research positions
- • Self-starter and continuous learner capable of working independently and collaboratively in a global, matrixed environment
