📋 Description

• Lead senior client conversations with private equity sponsors, CFOs, finance leaders, and portfolio company management teams across the UK and Europe.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and sponsors on data & analytics value creation engagements.
• Build trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders and establish credibility as a subject-matter expert in data-led value creation.
• Translate complex business challenges into clear data, analytics, and reporting requirements focused on finance, commercial, and operational performance.
• Identify opportunities where data and analytics can accelerate value creation, including growth, margin improvement, pricing, customer performance, sales effectiveness, working capital, and cash flow optimization.
• Design and guide the development of target operating models for Data, Technology, and AI that support value creation plans, covering people, process, platforms, and governance.
• Define KPI frameworks that directly link to management actions and investor priorities, ensuring alignment with private equity value creation objectives.
• Shape analytics approaches that connect data outputs to tangible business outcomes, challenging whether analysis answers the right commercial question.
• Oversee the creation of dashboards, management reporting packs, performance views, and analytical models to drive decision-making.
• Turn complex analytical findings into clear narratives, actionable recommendations, and compelling client readouts that connect data, technology, and AI to value creation.
• Support diligence, post-deal value creation, transformation, and exit-related initiatives for portfolio companies.
• Own the quality of all client deliverables, reviewing outputs before submission to Managing Directors, sponsors, or clients.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and delivery approach, identifying risks and information gaps early in engagements.
• Lead distributed teams across the UK, US, and Hyderabad, providing clear direction to analysts, engineers, data scientists, and consultants.
• Serve as the critical bridge between commercial stakeholders and technical delivery teams to ensure alignment and execution.
• Support business development and origination by contributing to lead generation, proposal development, account planning, and pitch preparation.
• Identify and pursue follow-on opportunities within existing client accounts and support cross-selling across Data, Analytics, AI, Strategic Finance, CFO Tech, and Transformation practices.
• Build and nurture relationships with clients, private equity sponsors, and key market contacts to expand Accordion’s footprint in Europe.
• Coach and mentor junior team members on client communication, commercial insight, and private equity value creation context.
• Set clear performance expectations and deliver regular feedback to team members.
• Contribute to internal training, knowledge sharing, and practice development through reusable frameworks, tools, accelerators, and delivery methods.
• Promote a high-performance, collaborative culture across global teams in the UK, US, and Hyderabad.
• Travel regularly and extensively across Europe to engage with clients in relevant jurisdictions.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience in data, analytics, consulting, value creation, finance transformation, performance improvement, or related advisory work.
• Strong understanding of private equity, portfolio company value creation, and the sponsor/management team relationship.
• Experience working directly with CFOs, finance leaders, PE operating partners, or portfolio company leadership teams.
• Proven ability to translate commercial problems into data and analytics solutions.
• Experience defining KPI frameworks, management reporting, commercial analytics, and performance dashboards.
• Working knowledge of modern data and reporting platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks.
