  • • As the Senior Director - Exhibitions at Inizio Engage, you will be the driving force behind our Environments capability in the United States, shaping its strategic direction, fostering creative excellence, and ensuring robust commercial performance and growth.
  • • This pivotal role involves leading the Environments discipline across experiential, spatial, and environmental design, with a mandate to consistently deliver high-quality, commercially successful projects that leave a significant and lasting impression on our prestigious clients and their audiences.
  • • You will be instrumental in cultivating a collaborative, innovative, and future-focused team, setting the standard for creative output and operational efficiency within the US market.
  • • As a key senior leader within the US business, your responsibilities extend to spearheading new business growth initiatives, cultivating strong client relationships, and managing financial performance with precision.
  • • This position also demands active collaboration with global counterparts, working across territories to enhance and expand Emota's offerings within the dynamic US market.
  • • You will report directly to the Global Head of Environments, providing a clear line of communication and strategic alignment.
  • • *Leadership & Discipline Ownership:**
  • • Define and champion the US vision for the Environments discipline, ensuring it is seamlessly aligned with Emota's overarching global strategy and ambitious growth objectives.
  • • Serve as a senior authority and the primary escalation point for all Environments-related work undertaken within the United States, providing expert guidance and decisive leadership.
  • • Collaborate closely with other Heads of Department within the US business to ensure cross-departmental synergy, integrated working methodologies, and a unified leadership approach to client engagement and business development.
  • • Partner with fellow US HODs to co-create integrated solutions, develop shared resourcing strategies, and establish consistent operational standards across the entire organization.
  • • Actively champion innovation, staying abreast of the latest industry trends, and promoting best practices in experiential, spatial, physical, and hybrid environment design.
  • • Establish and rigorously uphold high standards for creative output, strategic thinking, and project delivery across the entire Environments team.
  • • *New Business Growth:**
  • • In partnership with the Global Head, lead all US new business activities, proactively identifying untapped market opportunities and strategic growth areas.
  • • Collaborate with the dedicated Growth team to effectively capitalize on US market opportunities and implement agreed-upon growth strategies with precision and impact.
  • • Take charge of resourcing US pitch teams, working closely with the wider business to ensure the optimal blend of capabilities and leadership is deployed for each opportunity.
  • • Serve as a critical member of the Core Pitch Team for all significant US new business pursuits, contributing strategic insights and leadership.
  • • Provide essential support for the onboarding and early-stage leadership of new clients following successful pitches, ensuring a smooth and effective transition from sales closure to project delivery.
  • • Shape the future team structures, identify necessary capabilities, and define new hires required to support successful new business wins and sustained future growth.
  • • Lead the recruitment process for new or replacement roles, meticulously considering current needs and future growth projections.
  • • *Client Leadership:**
  • • Cultivate and nurture senior-level client relationships, establishing yourself as a trusted partner and indispensable advisor.
  • • Proactively support client growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities within existing accounts, deepening our engagement and value proposition.
  • • Represent Emota with distinction at senior client meetings, high-profile presentations, and relevant industry forums, enhancing our brand presence and influence.
  • • *Team Finance & Commercial Accountability:**
  • • Work collaboratively with the Global Head to develop accurate and insightful US team forecasts, ensuring meticulous planning and clear visibility into financial projections.
  • • Provide regular, data-driven input into Board Meetings, diligently tracking and reporting on commercial and financial performance against key metrics.
  • • Closely monitor client-based financial performance, including revenue, margin, and profitability, taking swift and decisive action where necessary to mitigate risks or maximize opportunities.
  • • Support accurate scoping, resource allocation, and sound commercial decision-making across all projects within the discipline.
  • • *Team Leadership & Culture:**
  • • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, cohesive Environments team within the US, fostering an environment of excellence and collaboration.
  • • Provide dedicated line management for senior team members, actively supporting their performance, professional development, and career progression.
  • • Promote seamless collaboration between US and UK teams, leveraging global expertise and best practices wherever possible to enhance project outcomes.
  • • Continue to foster an open, inclusive, and collaborative team culture that is deeply aligned with Emota's core values and promotes a sense of belonging for all.
  • • Encourage regular office attendance and in-person collaboration, recognizing its vital importance for nurturing creative quality, strengthening team cohesion, and fostering innovation.
  • • *Operational Excellence:**
  • • Ensure the efficient and high-quality delivery of all work through robust planning, effective governance, and strategic resourcing.
  • • Collaborate closely with production, operations, and finance teams to proactively manage risks, adhere to timelines, and uphold the highest standards of delivery quality.
  • • Establish, refine, and continuously improve processes that support consistency, scalability, and overall operational excellence across the Environments discipline.
