📋 Description

• • Lead enterprise-wide strategic leadership for global supply chain operations, overseeing end-to-end movement of goods, transportation networks, and trade compliance programs to ensure regulatory adherence and cost-efficient scalability.
• • Own and manage global budgets for freight, warehousing, and customs brokerage, implementing disciplined cost management and spend optimization strategies.
• • Establish and monitor department KPIs including on-time delivery metrics, cost per mile, and trade compliance adherence rates.
• • Oversee and optimize global transportation networks across ocean, air, rail, and ground modes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• • Lead contract negotiations with major freight carriers, third-party logistics (3PLs), and customs brokers to secure favorable terms and service levels.
• • Drive digital transformation by implementing and optimizing Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to improve network visibility, routing efficiency, and freight audit capabilities.
• • Lead and enforce global trade compliance programs covering import/export regulations, sanctions screening, tariff classification, and export control requirements.
• • Serve as primary liaison to customs agencies and regulatory bodies worldwide to ensure alignment with evolving international trade laws.
• • Mitigate compliance risk through audit programs, governance frameworks, and corrective action plans to ensure accurate product classification and regulatory compliance.
• • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global team, setting direction, fostering accountability, and promoting continuous improvement culture.
• • Lead commercial supply chain functions including new product launches and global market expansions.
• • Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, Finance, Tax, and Manufacturing teams to align logistics processes with business objectives.
• • Lead cross-functional projects focused on drug transportation and trade compliance process improvements.
• • Establish and maintain global standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, scalability, and regulatory compliance across all regions.
• • Utilize advanced expertise in GTM systems, TMS architecture, and ERP platforms such as SAP to support operational excellence.
• • Participate in early morning or evening meetings as required due to the global nature of operations and time zone differences.
• • Travel up to 20% to support global operations, team engagements, and compliance audits.
