- • As a Senior Director of Business Development for Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, you will lead Shield AI’s growth strategy in key Asia-Pacific markets, driving adoption of its autonomy ecosystem including X-BAT, V-BAT, ViDAR, and Hivemind to protect service members and civilians through intelligent systems.
- • You will shape country-specific strategy, lead major defense pursuits, build long-term partnerships with government and defense stakeholders, and own significant annual order targets while operating with high autonomy and reporting to the Senior Director of International Business & Strategy.
- • You will join Shield AI’s International Business & Strategy team, collaborating closely with global business development colleagues, product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver mission-critical autonomy capabilities at scale across the U.S., Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific regions.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in defense technology commercialization, expand Shield AI’s footprint in strategic Indo-Pacific markets, and achieve measurable impact by closing complex defense programs that advance national security objectives.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of closing complex defense programs, ideally across both hardware and software systems.
- • Deep defense, national security, or aerospace experience in Japan, South Korea, or Taiwan.
- • Established government relationships and fluency in Japanese language.
- • Experience building and leading high-performing business development teams to achieve significant annual order targets.
- • Ability to operate with autonomy while collaborating effectively across global product, engineering, and operations teams.
