ďż˝ Description
- • Serve as the primary strategic and financial advisor to the Executive Vice President & General Manager of Sales and Business Services (SBS), translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that steer multi-million-dollar decisions and accelerate CIS’s mission to make the connected world safer.
- • Own end-to-end financial stewardship for the SBS business unit—annual operating plan, quarterly re-forecasts, and 3–5-year strategic models—ensuring every dollar is aligned to pipeline growth, renewal excellence, and customer success outcomes.
- • Build and maintain sophisticated revenue, pricing, and profitability models that incorporate SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV) and services KPIs to illuminate risk, uncover upside, and guide investment trade-offs in real time.
- • Design and deliver executive-level dashboards in PowerBI, Adaptive Planning, and Salesforce that track bookings, renewals, services revenue, and customer lifecycle health; present findings monthly to the CFO, EVP of SBS, and Board-level stakeholders.
- • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Professional Services leaders to evaluate program ROI, refine customer segmentation, and prioritize market expansion initiatives—turning financial acumen into go-to-market advantage.
- • Lead pricing strategy for new product launches and existing offerings, leveraging competitive intelligence, win/loss data, and elasticity modeling to optimize deal size and margin while accelerating adoption across State, Local, Tribal, Territorial, and election-office customers.
- • Drive continuous process improvement: streamline quote-to-cash workflows, shorten forecast cycle times, and automate commission calculations in CaptivateIQ to reduce manual effort and improve forecast accuracy.
- • Mentor and develop a high-performing team of finance and business analysts; establish career paths, set measurable goals, and foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and data-driven storytelling.
- • Coordinate closely with Corporate FP&A, Accounting, and Revenue Operations to ensure GAAP compliance—especially ASC 606 revenue recognition—and seamless integration of SBS results into enterprise-wide reporting.
- • Champion financial literacy across SBS by creating training curricula, lunch-and-learns, and self-service analytic tools that empower non-finance leaders to own their numbers and make faster, smarter decisions.
- • Support strategic initiatives such as M&A due diligence, partnership evaluations, and customer success program funding with scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and board-ready investment memos.
- • Act as a guardian of CIS’s inclusive culture, ensuring diverse perspectives are represented in analyses, decisions, and team development practices.
