📋 Description

• The Senior Director of Engineering, Consumer AI will define and execute 1Password's Applied AI strategy across customer-facing products and experiences, ensuring AI solutions meet the company's standards for trust, privacy, security, reliability, and user experience.
• Day to day, this leader will partner with Product, Design, Security, Privacy, Legal, Compliance, Data, Platform Engineering, and Executive Leadership to identify high-value AI opportunities, build organizational and technical capabilities, deliver trustworthy AI products, develop engineering leaders, drive cross-functional alignment, and shape long-term AI strategy.
• 1Password is a market-leading cybersecurity company building the foundation for a safe, productive digital future, trusted by over 180,000 businesses including Fortune 100 leaders and innovative AI companies, with a mission to unleash employee productivity without compromising security.
• In this role, the person will learn to navigate ambiguity in emerging AI technologies, translate them into durable customer value, and grow as an executive leader influencing product, security, and privacy strategy at a high-growth SaaS company recognized on the Forbes Cloud 100 for four consecutive years.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years software engineering experience
• 5+ years leading large engineering organizations
• Experience leading AI-powered product initiatives
• Strong understanding of modern AI systems and product development
• Demonstrated success leading leaders and strong talent judgment
• Ability to connect technology strategy to customer outcomes and strong prioritization judgment
