- • Lead the full paid media function at Poshmark, overseeing performance and brand channels as the senior-most leader in paid media strategy.
- • Translate company-wide business objectives into holistic, channel-integrated paid media strategies that align with marketing, product, and commercial goals.
- • Serve as a key strategic stakeholder in executive discussions on growth, revenue, and marketing investment decisions.
- • Direct and mentor global teams responsible for performance marketing and brand-building campaigns across Paid Social (Meta, TikTok, X, Pinterest), Search and Google Suite (SEM, Shopping, YouTube, DV360), Programmatic, Linear/CTV, and emerging platforms.
- • Define and execute the channel architecture and activation roadmap for all paid media channels, ensuring optimal allocation and innovation.
- • Establish and maintain a rigorous test-and-learn framework to drive efficiency, scalability, and measurable business impact across all paid media initiatives.
- • Own the measurement philosophy and attribution methodology, including advanced techniques such as Media Mix Modeling (MMM) and incrementality testing.
- • Build and maintain robust reporting frameworks that directly link paid media spend to revenue, user acquisition, retention, and other core business KPIs.
- • Deliver regular performance reviews, forecasting, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
- • Partner closely with creative, data/analytics, product, and finance teams to ensure operational integration and alignment of paid media programs.
- • Manage agency and vendor relationships, including direct publisher partnerships, RFP processes, and media planning workflows.
- • Identify and champion opportunities for incremental investment and expansion of the media mix to unlock new growth levers.
- • Ensure paid media strategies are optimized for a two-sided marketplace environment with unique performance dynamics between buyers and sellers.
- • Communicate complex data and media strategies into clear, compelling narratives for executive and cross-functional audiences.
- • Maintain proficiency with leading analytics platforms such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to drive data-informed decision-making.
- • Build, develop, and retain high-performing teams across ad operations, account management, and specialized channel roles.
- • Oversee direct media buying and planning across both digital and traditional channels, including programmatic, linear TV, and CTV.
- • Ensure all paid media activities support Poshmark’s mission of fostering a social, community-driven fashion marketplace with 165 million members.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of paid media experience with significant time in senior or director-level roles with full channel ownership
- • Demonstrated experience working with apps and/or marketplace businesses and understanding of their unique performance dynamics
- • Must be based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA, with ability to meet in-office requirements
- • Hands-on expertise across paid social, paid search/SEM, programmatic, and video/linear channels
- • Strong command of advanced measurement approaches including Media Mix Modeling (MMM), incrementality testing, and attribution modeling
- • Proven track record of building and managing multi-channel media plans inclusive of digital and traditional media and direct publisher partnerships
