• As the Senior Director of Threat Research and Intelligence, you will be the architect of Blackpoint's technical narrative and threat intelligence storytelling. This pivotal leadership role demands a unique blend of deep technical acumen and strategic communication prowess. You will be responsible for translating intricate threat research findings into clear, compelling, and actionable insights for a wide spectrum of audiences.
• Your primary focus will be to craft and disseminate high-impact content across various digital channels, including but not limited to blogs, white papers, webinars, industry conferences, social media platforms, and other innovative storytelling formats. This role is crucial in establishing and maintaining a trusted, consistent, and authoritative technical voice for the Blackpoint brand.
• You will work in close collaboration with our Response Operations Center (B-ROC), which encompasses our Security Operations Center (SOC), Threat Intelligence, and Threat Research teams. This partnership is essential for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that resonates with our target communities.
• A key aspect of your role will be to partner with the Marketing and Public Relations (PR) teams to ensure our technical messaging is not only accurate and insightful but also strategically aligned with our business objectives, product roadmap, and overall market positioning. Your efforts will directly contribute to expanding Blackpoint's visibility, engagement, and thought leadership within the cybersecurity and Managed Service Provider (MSP) ecosystems.
• You will serve as a primary public-facing technical spokesperson for Blackpoint Cyber. This involves representing the company at key industry events, participating in panels, and engaging with media opportunities. Your ability to deliver captivating technical narratives will be paramount in building credibility and trust.
• Furthermore, you will maintain an active and engaging presence on social media and within the broader infosec and MSP communities. This engagement is vital for fostering dialogue, sharing expertise, and cultivating a strong community around Blackpoint's mission and capabilities.
• Key responsibilities include owning the Threat Intelligence strategy and program roadmap. This involves defining the vision, establishing the operating model, setting priorities, and defining measurable outcomes that directly support Blackpoint's ambitious growth goals.
• You will lead the creation and execution of technical messaging and threat content for the B-ROC across all relevant digital and event channels. This includes overseeing the development of blog posts, technical deep dives, research summaries, and other content formats.
• Collaborating with the B-ROC and Marketing teams, you will produce high-quality thought leadership content, essential technical materials, and drive community engagement initiatives. This cross-functional collaboration ensures that our technical expertise is effectively communicated to the market.
• A critical function is to shape and maintain a consistent, authentic, and technically sound voice across all our communication platforms. This includes blogs, white papers, webinars, conference presentations, and all digital touchpoints.
• You will partner closely with the Marketing department to drive the digital content strategy, aiming to significantly expand the company's visibility and engagement throughout the year.
• As the company's spokesperson, you will represent Blackpoint at major industry events, panels, and media interviews, delivering compelling technical narratives that highlight our expertise and value proposition.
• Maintaining an active presence on social media and within the infosec and MSP communities is essential for fostering engagement and solidifying our position as thought leaders.
• You will ensure that all technical messaging is meticulously aligned with overarching company goals, the product development direction, and our strategic market positioning, reinforcing our brand identity and competitive advantage.
• Success in this role will be measured by your ability to establish Blackpoint Cyber as a recognized and trusted authority in threat research and intelligence, significantly enhancing our credibility and market presence.

• Proven experience in technical content creation, messaging strategy, and execution within the cybersecurity domain.
• Demonstrated success as a public-facing technical spokesperson, including speaking at industry conferences and actively engaging on social media platforms.
• Strong existing relationships within the technical cybersecurity community and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences.
• An active and recognized presence within the infosec and MSP communities, with a demonstrated track record of building and nurturing community engagement.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to craft persuasive and informative content.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, and consistently deliver high-quality results.
