- • Lead the strategic design and execution of Amplify’s People technology stack to create a seamless, scalable, and data-driven employee experience.
- • Translate complex employee and People team needs into clear product and technical requirements that guide the Business Systems team in building high-impact solutions.
- • Partner with leadership across People, Data, and Business Systems teams to deliver workforce analytics and predictive insights that directly inform company strategy and decision-making.
- • Architect and optimize a digital ecosystem that eliminates workflow friction by automating manual HR processes in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance/talent management, benefits, and payroll.
- • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and data orientation by ensuring People systems are not just functional but actively enhance organizational productivity and cultural alignment.
- • Set the roadmap for People technology investments, making sound prioritization decisions based on business impact, resource constraints, and system interdependencies.
- • Design and steward well-defined, consistent, and automatable HR processes across all core People functions to enable scalability and reduce operational overhead.
- • Interpret People data to frame actionable questions, turn analyses into strategic recommendations, and communicate insights through compelling data storytelling using BI tools like Looker or Tableau.
- • Serve as the primary liaison between non-technical HR teams and technical implementers, translating user needs into technical specifications and complex data outputs into clear, actionable narratives.
- • Lead large-scale digital transformations in HR technology while maintaining a human-first approach to employee experience and organizational change.
- • Ensure People metrics are not merely reported but actively used to tell a meaningful story of organizational impact, influencing leadership decisions and resource allocation.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Data, and Technology teams to align HR systems strategy with broader enterprise systems and data governance.
- • Maintain deep familiarity with Workday and the broader People systems landscape to credibly direct roadmap priorities and partner effectively with technical vendors and internal engineers.
- • Champion change management initiatives to drive adoption of new People technologies and processes across global teams serving over 18 million students and teachers.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years in technology, operations, and/or analytics roles, with at least 5 years in progressive leadership roles
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- • Deep familiarity with Workday and the broader People systems strategy and landscape
- • Demonstrated ability to interpret People data, frame strategic questions, and turn analyses into recommendations using modern BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau)
- • Track record of designing and stewarding automatable, consistent HR processes across recruiting, hiring, onboarding, performance/talent management, benefits, and payroll
- • Exceptional ability to translate between technical and non-technical teams, converting user needs into product requirements and complex data into actionable narratives
