  • • Lead the evolution of Juniper Square’s enterprise procurement and strategic sourcing strategy with an AI-first mindset, integrating automation, intelligent tooling, and agentic workflows to drive scalability and operational excellence.
  • • Manage and mentor a growing team of procurement specialists, fostering continuous learning and embedding AI fluency as a core team capability to elevate performance and innovation.
  • • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to the VP of Finance and executive leadership, aligning procurement initiatives with organizational priorities, risk management objectives, and the broader AI transformation roadmap.
  • • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Security, and Business Operations to ensure procurement activities comply with budget constraints, regulatory standards, and security protocols while enabling teams to operate with greater speed and confidence.
  • • Direct all strategic sourcing activities including supplier identification, RFP development, competitive bidding, contract negotiations, and vendor performance management to secure optimal pricing, service levels, and long-term value.
  • • Oversee the full contract lifecycle—from drafting and execution to renewal and termination—leveraging AI-powered tools to enhance accuracy, reduce cycle times, and improve data integrity across all vendor agreements.
  • • Implement and scale AI-driven workflows for contract review, spend analysis, vendor risk assessment, and renewal forecasting, reducing manual labor while maintaining compliance and rigorous oversight.
  • • Evaluate, pilot, and deploy AI tools such as Claude and other agentic platforms to increase procurement team output, automate routine tasks, and surface actionable insights without sacrificing due diligence.
  • • Design and maintain dashboards and automated reporting systems that track procurement KPIs, cost savings, vendor performance metrics, and savings outcomes using AI-assisted data pipelines and predictive analytics.
  • • Drive organizational change by educating stakeholders on new AI-powered procurement workflows, ensuring consistent policy adoption and fostering a culture of innovation where identifying automation opportunities is an expected responsibility for all team members.
  • • Proactively manage vendor relationships and renewals to maintain competitive advantage, ensure operational continuity, and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • • Deliver measurable cost savings across software, services, and operational spend categories while balancing risk mitigation and quality standards.
  • • Champion the adoption of procurement technology platforms, including Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), spend management systems, and AI workflow automation tools, to improve efficiency and visibility across the organization.
  • • Build and strengthen the internal brand of the procurement function by demonstrating its strategic value through data-driven outcomes, stakeholder alignment, and transparent communication.
  • • Operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to evolving priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and managing multiple high-stakes initiatives simultaneously.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 10+ years of procurement and sourcing experience, including 2–5 years at the Director level
  • • Demonstrated experience leading AI-driven process transformation in procurement or operations, with measurable workflow redesign and efficiency gains
  • • Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools and agentic platforms such as Claude
  • • Strong negotiation skills and proven track record of achieving significant cost savings and process improvements
  • • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • • Experience implementing or scaling procurement technologies (e.g., CLM, spend management, AI automation platforms)
