  • • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Solutions Engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
  • • Develop and execute a comprehensive pre-sales technical strategy aligned with PTC’s go-to-market objectives, ensuring effective demonstration and articulation of PTC’s value proposition.
  • • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to understand customer needs, identify key business challenges, and position PTC solutions effectively to drive revenue growth.
  • • Oversee the creation and delivery of compelling technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and workshops tailored to specific customer requirements.
  • • Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the sales cycle, acting as a trusted advisor to both customers and the internal sales team.
  • • Champion customer success by ensuring proposed solutions are technically sound, scalable, and meet customer expectations.
  • • Drive continuous innovation in pre-sales methodologies, tools, and best practices to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • • Contribute to product strategy by providing valuable market feedback and customer insights to product management and engineering teams.
  • • Manage resources, budgets, and performance metrics for the Solutions Engineering team.
  • • Represent PTC at industry events, conferences, and customer forums, showcasing our technical expertise and thought leadership.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • • 10+ years of progressive experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, or a related technical leadership role within the enterprise software industry.
  • • Proven track record of successfully leading and managing technical pre-sales teams, with a strong emphasis on coaching, development, and performance management.
  • • Deep understanding of PTC’s product portfolio (e.g., IoT, PLM, AR, CAD) and/or related technologies and their application in various industries.
  • • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including C-level executives.
  • • Strong business acumen and a consultative approach to understanding and solving customer business problems with technology.
