- • As a Senior Director of Strategic Planning at Tinuiti, you will be instrumental in elevating and expanding the agency's strategic planning capabilities. This pivotal role involves serving as the primary media planning lead for multiple, complex client accounts, driving integrated media strategies from brand awareness through to purchase across the entire customer journey. You will leverage your deep expertise in media planning and strategy, coupled with a strong ability to utilize research and data to uncover critical customer insights, to become a trusted advisor to Tinuiti's most significant clients. Your strategic recommendations will balance audience needs, channel effectiveness, and contextual relevance to define optimal media mix strategies that directly contribute to achieving client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will collaborate closely with the Client Partner, acting as their strategic counterpart, to identify and capitalize on opportunities for growing media investments and deepening the overall client relationship with Tinuiti.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass leading the comprehensive strategic planning process for your assigned key clients. This includes ensuring that all media plans are seamlessly integrated across a diverse range of media channels, encompassing offline, online, upper-funnel, mid-funnel, and lower-funnel environments. You will be a driving force in advancing the agency's strategic media capabilities across the broader team, sharing best practices and fostering innovation. A core part of your role will be orchestrating the development of meticulously grounded, full-funnel strategic media plans that are deeply rooted in the client's overarching business strategy. These plans will aim to build brands, utilize the full spectrum of media principles—such as reach, frequency, incrementality, diminishing returns, and attention—to enhance market share and penetration, and ultimately drive profitable growth for the client. You will act as the team's foremost educator and translator of media fundamentals, adeptly explaining complex planning concepts like audience architecture, media mathematics, reach curves, investment allocation logic, channel roles, and measurement frameworks to a wide audience, from hands-on client practitioners to C-suite executives. You will partner effectively with communications planners to ensure strategic alignment across audience targeting, messaging, and channel selection. A key output will be the production and templating of core deliverables from Tinuiti’s proprietary planning tool suite. You will also oversee the training curriculum focused on uncovering consumer insights and translating them into actionable strategies that effectively address client challenges. Furthermore, you will engage in C-level partnerships, contributing to the enhancement of Tinuiti’s solution capabilities and actively working towards achieving the agency's ROCK goals. You will be a critical stakeholder in the evolution of Tinuiti’s planning tool partners, evaluating and contributing to the roadmap for further development of the agency's suite of tools. Your role will also involve leading consultancy opportunities specifically focused on media mix optimization and audience development. You will be expected to creatively craft information into concise, compelling narratives that engage, inspire, and motivate clients and internal teams. Building trust with clients will be paramount, achieved by demonstrating deep expertise in their business, understanding their data, goals, and needs, and acting as a true strategic advisor. You will partner with primary client points of contact to help them effectively steward media strategies and recommendations throughout their organizations, establishing credibility with VP-level stakeholders and other members of the Integrated Agency Team (IAT). In collaboration with Client Partners, you will contribute to account planning by identifying media-driven growth opportunities that can significantly increase client revenue. You will instill a proactive, 'break-it' approach to strategy development, exploring how media can unlock new avenues for growth and developing innovative case studies for both brands and the agency.
