- • The Senior eCommerce Compliance & Fraud Specialist (f/m/d) at Awin Group AG plays a critical role in safeguarding the integrity, trust, and commercial viability of the Awin network by leading complex fraud investigations and contributing to network-wide fraud prevention strategies.
- • Day to day, the person will lead high-impact fraud investigations across publishers and traffic sources, conduct in-depth publisher risk assessments, perform advanced data analysis using SQL and Power BI, develop fraud detection methodologies, advise stakeholders on fraud risks, and support operational case handling while driving workflow improvements.
- • The role sits within the Network Quality team at Awin, a global affiliate marketing platform part of the Axel Springer group, known for its dynamic, inclusive culture and commitment to diversity, innovation, and employee wellbeing.
- • In this role, the person can develop deep expertise in affiliate fraud detection, attribution mechanics, and data-driven risk mitigation, while gaining experience in shaping scalable fraud prevention systems and influencing network-wide policies through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, fraud prevention, adtech, or risk/compliance roles within digital ecosystems
- • Strong hands-on experience with affiliate fraud detection and prevention, including knowledge of common fraud tactics and evolving methodologies
- • Deep understanding of CPA, CPC, and performance-based marketing models
- • Strong knowledge of affiliate tracking technologies, attribution logic, and conversion flows
- • Advanced analytical capabilities with experience in SQL or equivalent query-based analysis and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- • Fluency in English is required (C1+ level), additional languages (e.g., German) are a plus
