- • Senior Employee Communications Specialist at Zillow Group, Inc. is a pivotal role responsible for executing high-impact, companywide internal communications that inform, inspire, and engage all Zillow employees (Zall), directly supporting business strategy execution and fostering employee advocacy.
- • The role ensures critical company messages are accurate, timely, and aligned with organizational narratives, reaching employees across all levels and functions to clarify strategic direction, purpose, and required actions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning execution of daily companywide communications by transforming strategy and campaign direction into clear, engaging content for channels such as companywide emails, intranet posts, leadership talking points, presentations, and toolkits.
- • The specialist translates campaign strategies into detailed editorial plans, managing drafts, timelines, stakeholder reviews, and final deliverables while maintaining rigorous quality and consistency standards.
- • They support major company moments including All Hands meetings, quarterly earnings announcements, and organizational updates by drafting content, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and ensuring end-to-end execution excellence.
- • Close partnership with senior leaders and executives is required to draft, refine, and finalize messaging, incorporating feedback while preserving clarity, tone, and narrative integrity.
- • The role involves coordinating with cross-functional communications teams to ensure message alignment, consistency, and on-time delivery across initiatives.
- • Managing multiple concurrent workstreams in fast-paced environments is essential, requiring strong prioritization, deadline adherence, and balance between speed, accuracy, and quality.
- • Tracking engagement metrics and qualitative feedback enables data-informed improvements to future content and communication effectiveness.
- • Maintaining editorial standards and quality checks ensures employees receive trustworthy, actionable information and know where to find reliable updates.
- • The Employee Communications team at Zillow plays a strategic role in guiding employee understanding and behavior, ultimately driving business outcomes through informed and motivated teams.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in employee, internal, or corporate communications
- • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a high bar for editorial judgment and quality
- • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders in fast-moving, matrixed environments
- • Comfortable partnering with senior leaders and executives to develop and refine high-visibility messaging
- • Experience supporting major company moments such as earnings, org updates, or All Hands meetings
- • Familiarity with managing editorial calendars, content plans, or campaign timelines
