  • • As a Senior EMR Analyst - Epic Home Care at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, you will play a critical role in designing, optimizing, and supporting Epic Home Care solutions that improve clinical workflows, enhance the caregiver experience, and positively impact patient outcomes.

  • • You will serve as a strategic partner to clinical and operational leaders, lead complex initiatives, mentor team members, and help ensure our electronic medical record systems continue to support world-class patient care.
  • • The role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems that greatly improve clinical care and patient management.
  • • You will support system testing, document testing outcomes, drive process improvement efforts, and demonstrate advanced problem-solving and technical solution skills.
  • • The role also involves utilizing development lifecycle process, operating procedures, and documentation to implement and support system solutions.
  • • You will contribute to strategic planning efforts, lead strategy and innovation in applicable clinical systems training and build environments, and independently develop and mentor others on education technology content for applicable use.
  • • The role involves driving the use of multivariate learning modalities to cover the adult learning spectrum and clinical system education need.
  • • You will network with internal and external experts to identify best practices for clinical system use and training, promote the use of industry best practice tools for efficiency and innovative education and learning.
  • • The role also involves maintaining currency in the field by participating in educational opportunities provided by vendor and other customer connections.
  • • You will conduct and participate in instructional sessions, use knowledge to improve skills, develop and maintain positive relationships, both internal and external to CCHMC.
  • • The role involves motivating people and encouraging teamwork, working well with others and fostering a positive team environment.
  • • You will use knowledge to drive innovation, prepare oral and written presentations, and lead the design, development, and implementation of new and enhanced EMR requests.
  • • The role also involves developing and managing project plans and other project-related documentation for complex projects, managing multiple moderate to complex projects independently.
  • • You will determine the scope of complex projects, coordinate the appropriate resources needed, independently prioritize assigned tasks and projects.
  • • The role involves coordinating and facilitating communication between internal and external parties on assigned tasks and related issues, working with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration.
  • • You will consult with and support the end-user community to develop and validate requirements for system solutions, work with 3rd-party developers to review potential software development solutions for integrated build issues.
  • • The role also involves developing collaborative professional relationships with customer group and key stakeholders, ensuring outstanding end-user support is provided.
  • • You will plan, execute, and support a user base through clinical system training and the creation and curation of expert education and training materials.
  • • The role involves adhering to and promoting continual adoption of change management policies and procedures, having a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • • You will model outstanding customer service behavior, including timely and effective follow-up with customers.
  • • The role also involves maintaining CCHMC's service standards of being Courteous, Attentive, Respectful, and Enthusiastic team members, and Safe (CARES).

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor's degree in a related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • • 5+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Expected Starting Pay Range: $91,520.00 - $116,688.00.
  • • Additional pay (e.g., shift, on-call, or weekend differentials) and benefits may apply.
  • • Annual pay may vary based on FTE status.
