Senior Eng. Manager - Seller Experience

📋 Description

• • As a Senior Engineering Manager for Seller Experience at eBay Inc., you will lead the full technology stack powering the seller lifecycle at TCGplayer, including onboarding, listing, inventory, POS, order processing, fulfillment, analytics, and support tooling. This role is critical to enabling small businesses and hobby sellers to scale and thrive in the global marketplace.
• • You will own the vision and technical strategy for the Seller Experience platform, drive modernization of legacy systems, make high-impact architectural decisions, and ensure best-in-class engineering practices across CI/CD, observability, incident response, and code quality for 4–6 engineering teams (30–50 engineers).
• • You will lead, mentor, and develop Engineering Managers, build and scale high-performing distributed teams across US and offshore locations, and foster a culture of psychological safety, clear ownership, and bias toward action while managing cross-timezone collaboration effectively.
• • You will partner with Product and Design to define roadmaps, lead greenfield product development, ship incremental value to sellers, and serve as a key member of the engineering leadership team influencing company-wide technical strategy and communicating progress to executives including the CTO and eBay leadership.
