- • Senior Full Stack Software Engineer role at College Board’s Cross Program Microservices team, focused on modernizing student data systems to enhance data privacy, independence, and regulatory compliance for millions of records across AP®, SAT®, and other national assessments.
- • Design, develop, implement, and deploy AWS cloud solutions using serverless architectures (Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, DynamoDB, RDS) and full-stack technologies (React, NodeJS) to improve data quality, automation, and system reliability in a high-impact, mission-driven environment.
- • Collaborate with Product DevOps, Network Engineering, Security, and Infrastructure teams to build robust, scalable microservices while adhering to Agile/Scrum practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
- • College Board is a not-for-profit membership organization transforming into an Agile, DevOps-enabled enterprise to improve speed and reliability of service delivery in support of educational equity and excellence nationwide.
- • Join the Multiverse Team—a backend-focused group of seven engineers including an architect, technical lead, developers, and analysts—working autonomously yet collaboratively across sub-teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality data solutions.
- • Take ownership of complex software development tasks including coding, design specifications, unit testing, technical documentation, and cross-team stakeholder engagement to ensure professional, expectation-aligned outcomes.
- • Drive innovation in data management and transactional systems by applying modern software engineering principles, distributed architectural patterns, and DevOps practices to reduce risk and increase operational efficiency.
- • Mentor and learn from peers in a culture that values merit of ideas, continuous teaching and learning, and iterative improvement through feedback and user input.
- • Contribute to high-responsibility initiatives that reshape how student data is stored, accessed, and shared across platforms, directly impacting millions of students and educators.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum 7 years of demonstrated experience in software development with strong competence in multiple programming languages and technologies, especially in cloud environments.
- • Expert-level experience with React, NodeJS, and scripting in cloud-based environments, including advanced hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, SNS/SQS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB, and AWS CLI.
- • Strong design and development experience in building and monitoring microservices including UI, plus working experience with CI/CD using AWS CodePipeline and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., CloudFormation).
