📋 Description
- • Senior Engineer - AI Evaluator role focused on assessing the quality of interactions with AI coding agents like OpenAI Codex and Claude Code, emphasizing engineering judgment over code correctness.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating AI-generated coding interactions end-to-end, judging usefulness, correctness, and alignment with strong engineering thinking, assessing reasoning quality, distinguishing response quality levels, and providing opinionated feedback on what works, what doesn’t, and what feels misleading.
- • The role is part of G2i Inc., a company connecting top technical talent with innovative projects, working to define what 'great' looks like in AI-assisted development through expert human evaluation.
- • In this role, you will refine your ability to make rigorous, subjective judgments about AI behavior, deepen expertise in modern AI-assisted workflows, and help shape standards for evaluating AI tools in software engineering.
🎯 Requirements
- • Staff or Principal-level engineering experience (or equivalent)
- • Strong background in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python
- • Hands-on experience with OpenAI Codex, Claude Code, and Cursor
