• Co-own the tribe roadmap and translate RohlĂk Group’s ambitious growth strategy into measurable business results. You will sit shoulder-to-shoulder with Product Management to define quarterly OKRs, sequence epics, and ruthlessly prioritise initiatives that move the needle on revenue, customer NPS, and operational efficiency.
• Drive >90 % delivery predictability against sprint goals and quarterly milestones by instituting rigorous planning rituals, transparent progress tracking, and data-driven risk management. Your team will become the gold standard for dependable execution across the entire group technology organisation.
• Guarantee that 100 % of engineering capacity is laser-focused on company-level OKRs. You will continuously audit backlog health, challenge scope creep, and re-allocate resources in real time to keep the team on the highest-impact work.
• Champion AI-augmented development by embedding GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT plugins, and internal LLM tooling into daily workflows. You will set measurable AI-adoption targets per engineer, run internal hack-days, and share success stories that inspire other tribes to follow suit.
• Cultivate a high-performing, low-ego culture where engineers operate at a sustainable 80–90 % utilisation rate. You will monitor burnout signals, enforce sensible on-call rotations, and maintain voluntary attrition well below industry benchmarks.
• Own the full people-management lifecycle for a team of product engineers: hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, compensation cycles, and structured career development. Every direct report will have a living development plan and receive actionable feedback at least once per quarter.
• Close 100 % of identified skill gaps within two quarters through a blend of targeted training, pair-programming, external courses, and strategic new hires. You will maintain a skills matrix that maps team capabilities to future product bets and emerging technologies.
• Uphold uncompromising quality standards: keep bug-escape rates low and ensure rework from previous sprints consumes <10 % of team capacity. You will institutionalise automated testing, code-review SLAs, and blameless post-mortems that turn failures into shared learning.
• Execute an aggressive hiring plan by sourcing, interviewing, and closing exceptional talent across Prague and remote markets. You will partner with Talent Acquisition to refine employer-brand messaging and reduce time-to-offer to under four weeks.
• Ensure 100 % adoption of mandated Guild standards—coding guidelines, security baselines, observability contracts—within one quarter of rollout. You will act as a two-way conduit: evangelising best practices upward while feeding ground-level insights back to the Guild leads.
• Provide rolling forecasts for team capacity, tooling needs, and training budgets to the Director of Engineering. Your input will directly shape annual strategic planning and investment decisions across the group.
• Serve as a visible leader in the Prague tech community: speak at meet-ups, host open-door demo days, and mentor rising leaders across other tribes. Your influence will extend beyond your own squad to elevate the entire engineering culture at RohlĂk.
