📋 Description

• Lead and grow a distributed team of engineers building the next generation of Kraken Pro’s trading interface, responsible for technical direction, product execution, and engineering excellence of the UI layer powering Kraken’s most advanced user experiences.
• Drive the design, architecture, and delivery of performant, modular, and accessible frontend systems while partnering closely with Product, Design, and Backend teams to shape and deliver on the product roadmap.
• Join a world-class, fully remote team of crypto experts in 70+ countries who are united by a mission to accelerate global crypto adoption and financial inclusion through industry-leading security, education, and client support.
• Champion user experience through hands-on engagement, feedback loops, and usability improvements while fostering a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and collaboration; mentor and develop engineers to grow technically and professionally; guide initiatives that modernize the frontend stack, improve reliability, and enhance performance at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with a strong focus on frontend or full-stack development.
• 3+ years of experience leading and mentoring engineers (4–8 people) in a distributed environment.
• Deep experience with TypeScript and React, including React Native for mobile.
• Solid understanding of performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive UI design.
• Proven track record of collaborating effectively with Product, Design, and cross-functional teams.
• Passion for building delightful, high-quality user experiences in fast-moving, product-driven environments.
