- • Senior Engineering Manager, Solutions Engineering at Noda AI Inc. leads a growing team of Solution Engineers and Architects responsible for deploying the company’s autonomous systems platform into customer environments, ensuring technical excellence and mission success.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading, coaching, and performance-managing engineers; owning hiring and promotions; managing engagement staffing and delivery quality; overseeing the full deployment lifecycle from design to customer handoff and After Action Review; maintaining technical standards on deliverables; partnering cross-functionally with Product, Mission Leads, Field Operations, and Business Development; and funneling customer feedback to Product and Core Engineering.
- • Noda AI is a veteran-owned, venture-backed defense technology company building the orchestration layer for autonomous unmanned systems, serving defense and intelligence customers with a mission-driven, high-agency culture.
- • In this role, you will develop leadership expertise in high-stakes B2B defense environments, strengthen technical credibility in evaluating complex integration architectures, shape team culture and hiring standards, and advance toward senior engineering leadership paths including Principal Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years directly managing engineers
- • Track record leading customer-facing or forward-deployed engineering teams in defense, autonomy, or comparable high-stakes B2B environments
- • Strong technical credibility, able to read Python, C++, or Rust and evaluate integration architecture decisions
- • Excellent written communication
- • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
