- • Lead, grow, and mentor a team of full-stack engineers responsible for Console — the primary customer interface for the Tiger platform — including observability, user management, and developer-experience features like chunk-size optimization.
- • Own the end-to-end delivery and strategy of developer tooling, including the Tiger CLI and MCP integrations, ensuring seamless interaction with the Tiger platform.
- • Take full ownership of the billing system, from underlying services to the customer-facing experience, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and usability.
- • Set technical direction for a predominantly JavaScript and Go stack, balancing speed of delivery, code polish, and long-term maintainability across frontend and backend services.
- • Establish and evolve engineering practices, conventions, and culture during a period of team reorganization and rapid growth, driving organizational change and alignment.
- • Partner closely with Product, Design, and other engineering leaders to translate roadmap priorities into shipped, high-quality features with strong user experience.
- • Maintain hands-on technical involvement to make informed architectural and prioritization decisions, including writing code when necessary to unblock teams or demonstrate best practices.
- • Foster a strong engineering culture centered on accountability, direct communication, collaborative excellence, and developer-centric product design.
- • Drive hiring, performance management, and career development for engineers, ensuring team health and retention while scaling the organization.
- • Champion the development of experiences that developers love, with a focus on usability, reliability, and performance in cloud-only capabilities.
- • Lead the team in executing on high-ownership product initiatives that define the next generation of the Tiger platform’s user interface and tooling ecosystem.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of engineering experience, including 3+ years managing engineers or engineering teams
- • Proven track record of building and leading high-performing full-stack teams that ship customer-facing products
- • Strong technical depth with hands-on experience in JavaScript and modern frontend, plus Go (or comparable backend) services
- • Experience owning complex, customer-facing domains end to end — such as billing, observability, user/account management, or developer-experience tooling
- • Proven ability to set culture, standards, and direction during periods of growth or reorganization
- • Strong product sense and judgment to balance polish, velocity, and reliability
