📋 Description

• Manage the complete estimating lifecycle for industrial coatings and structural painting projects, including review of drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for projects involving water tanks, oil and fuel tanks, ground storage tanks, and elevated storage tanks.
• Develop accurate cost estimates for preservation, rehabilitation, and protective coating systems, incorporating labor, equipment, material, subcontractor, and production costs.
• Prepare comprehensive bid packages, pricing recommendations, and proposal support documentation for US-based industrial construction projects.
• Collaborate remotely with a US-based estimating team to align on project scope, pricing strategy, and bid submission timelines.
• Support smooth transition of estimates to operations teams by maintaining organized estimate files, assumptions, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure all estimates comply with US construction standards, specifications, and industry workflows for industrial infrastructure.
• Focus exclusively on industrial coatings, structural painting, and corrosion protection projects—excluding residential or general commercial construction.
• Estimate work involving tank rehabilitation, steel preservation, fireproofing, and protective coating systems for critical infrastructure assets.
• Utilize specialized software including On-Screen Takeoff, PlanSwift, Togal.AI, Bluebeam, and advanced Microsoft Excel to conduct takeoffs and cost modeling.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail in all estimating deliverables.
• Maintain familiarity with industry-specific methods for protective coating systems and industrial preservation techniques.
• Participate in remote project handoff activities to ensure operational readiness following bid award.
• Adapt to the demands of supporting US-based clients and teams across time zones while adhering to strict project deadlines.
• Apply expertise in estimating for industrial sectors including environmental, infrastructure, and specialty construction markets.
• Ensure all estimates reflect technical requirements for compliance with rigorous industry safety and performance standards.
• Avoid general construction estimating experience; only candidates with proven industrial coatings and preservation background will be considered.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of estimating experience within industrial construction environments
• Demonstrated experience estimating structural painting and industrial coatings projects
• Proven expertise with tank rehabilitation, water storage infrastructure, oil and fuel tank projects, and steel preservation and protective coating systems
• Experience owning estimates from initial review through final pricing submission
• Familiarity with US construction standards, specifications, and workflows
• Experience collaborating remotely with US-based teams
