- • Hatch is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Event Marketing Manager to spearhead our end-to-end event presence. This pivotal role is designed for a strategic marketer with the operational acumen to transform event concepts into impactful realities. You will be instrumental in designing and executing a diverse range of events, including major trade shows, intimate field events, strategic partner activations, and exclusive VIP experiences. Your primary objective will be to craft memorable moments that not only elevate the Hatch brand but also foster deeper customer relationships and, crucially, drive tangible sales pipeline.
- • As the owner of Hatch's event playbook, you will develop and lead a comprehensive events strategy meticulously aligned with both marketing objectives and revenue goals. This includes driving awareness, fostering engagement, generating qualified leads, and supporting customer retention efforts. You will possess the autonomy to select the most impactful events for Hatch to participate in, articulate the strategic 'why' behind each decision, and define the winning approach for every engagement.
- • Your responsibilities will span the entire event lifecycle. You will manage a broad spectrum of event formats, from large-scale owned conferences and executive dinners to industry trade shows and targeted field events. For each format, you will devise and implement the optimal strategy tailored to the specific audience and the unique context of the moment, ensuring maximum resonance and impact.
- • A significant aspect of this role involves handling core logistics with precision and foresight. This includes coordinating the shipping of booth assets and promotional materials, managing inventory of branded merchandise (swag), overseeing event technology setups, and expertly wrangling vendors. You will work closely with a dedicated logistics partner to establish and refine scalable systems that ensure smooth and efficient execution, laying the groundwork for future growth.
- • You will be the architect of Hatch's event narrative, defining the core messaging angle for each event and ensuring absolute consistency across every touchpoint. This involves briefing and directing the marketing team on content needs, such as one-pagers, impactful signage, and compelling booth copy, ensuring that our brand story is told effectively and memorably.
- • Effective cross-functional collaboration is paramount. You will serve as the central point of contact, partnering closely with Sales, Account Management (AM), Partners, and Product teams. Your role will be to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on event goals, storylines, product positioning, and outreach plans. You will lead key internal meetings, such as 'Know Before You Go' (KBYG) sessions, and drive all necessary cross-functional coordination to guarantee a unified and successful event execution.
- • You will optimize the marketing engine by owning the outreach streams for Account Management and collaborating with the Sales team on their respective outreach efforts. This includes spinning up dedicated landing pages and seamless booking flows, with essential support from our design operations team. Furthermore, you will integrate event activities into our ongoing nurture campaigns and newsletter rhythms, ensuring that event engagement translates into sustained interest and lead progression.
- • A key differentiator for Hatch will be your ability to make our presence truly memorable. You will be tasked with conceptualizing and implementing creative booth activations, innovative swag ideas, and engaging experiences that capture attention, encourage interaction, and leave a lasting positive impression on attendees long after the event concludes.
- • Data-driven decision-making is essential. You will meticulously track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pipeline impact, including lead scans, scheduled meetings, Sales Qualified Opportunities (SQOs), and ultimately, closed revenue. You will produce clear, insightful, and actionable event recaps, providing valuable analysis and outlining concrete next steps for continuous improvement and future strategy refinement.
