Our cutting-edge platform leverages advanced device intelligence, behavior biometrics, machine learning, and AI to detect and stop fraudulent activities before they impact businesses and their customers. With a strong foundation backed by $145M in funding from prominent investors like Andreessen Horowitz, Activant, Visa, Experian, FIS, and Google Ventures, Sardine is at the forefront of securing digital transactions.
  • • We foster a dynamic, remote-first work culture that transcends geographical boundaries, with hubs in the Bay Area, NYC, Austin, Toronto, and SĂŁo Paulo. Our philosophy centers on hiring self-motivated individuals who embody extreme ownership and a high growth orientation. We prioritize performance and impact over arbitrary work hours, understanding the importance of work-life integration. This means you can attend to personal commitments like family dinners, school events, or appointments without compromising your professional contributions.
  • • As a Senior Events Marketing Manager based in our Austin, Texas hub, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Sardine's presence at key industry events. This role is crucial for driving brand awareness, lead generation, and fostering meaningful connections within our target markets. You will be the driving force behind our sponsored events, the highly anticipated SardineCon conferences, and engaging virtual events, ensuring each touchpoint delivers a best-in-class experience.
  • • Your responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of event marketing strategy and execution. This includes developing comprehensive event marketing plans tailored for diverse formats such as industry trade shows, our flagship SardineCon conferences, informative webinars, and other Sardine-branded initiatives. You will be instrumental in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to showcase our solutions and thought leadership.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve overseeing our participation in major conferences and trade shows. This includes managing all facets of our presence, from conceptualizing and executing compelling booth designs that capture attention, to strategically submitting impactful speaker proposals that position Sardine as a leader in fraud prevention. You will also coordinate co-branded events and innovative promotional activations designed to maximize engagement and generate qualified leads.
  • • You will own and meticulously manage the marketing calendar for all upcoming trade shows, events, and webinars. Proactive planning and diligent execution are key to maintaining a seamless event pipeline.
  • • To ensure our event strategy is always aligned with market needs and business objectives, you will conduct thorough research to identify relevant trade shows and events. This research will focus on opportunities that best align with our target audience, industry trends, and strategic growth goals, ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • • Financial stewardship is paramount. You will be responsible for monitoring and managing event budgets meticulously, ensuring that all expenses related to venue selection, catering, travel, promotional materials, and other event-related costs remain within allocated financial limits. This requires a keen eye for detail and strong negotiation skills.
  • • For key events, you may be required to provide on-site supervision. This involves ensuring smooth setup, managing logistics, and serving as the primary point of contact for any issues that may arise, guaranteeing a flawless execution on the ground.
  • • Collaboration is central to success. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, product, and design, to ensure a cohesive and impactful event presence. Your ability to foster strong working relationships and communicate effectively will be vital in delivering integrated and memorable event experiences that resonate with our audience and drive business outcomes.
  • • This role demands exceptional project management capabilities, outstanding communication skills, and a proven ability to orchestrate complex initiatives from conception to completion. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, consistently delivers high-quality results, and possesses a strong aesthetic sensibility to create visually appealing and engaging event environments.
