  • • Own and exceed revenue targets for a portfolio of mid-market advertisers in the Entertainment vertical, acting as JioStar’s single-point ambassador in the market for every account you manage.
  • • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, category mapping, and relationship mapping with both advertisers and their agencies; flag roadblocks early and keep the funnel healthy at all times.
  • • Deliver consultative, data-driven pitches that weave together JioStar’s premium TV network and cutting-edge digital platforms—reaching 750 million viewers weekly—into bespoke, ROI-positive solutions that solve real business problems.
  • • Drive end-to-end deal execution—from first meeting to final signature—by collaborating with pricing, planning, creative, ad-ops, and analytics teams to ensure flawless campaign delivery and measurable impact.
  • • Deepen client intimacy through quarterly business reviews, joint business plans, case-study creation, and thought-leadership interviews that position JioStar as an indispensable innovation partner rather than a mere media vendor.
  • • Translate complex industry trends, audience insights, and competitive intelligence into actionable recommendations that help clients win share-of-voice and share-of-market in India’s rapidly evolving media landscape.
  • • Maintain monthly run-rate momentum by identifying upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities within existing accounts while simultaneously hunting for new logos to expand JioStar’s mid-market footprint.
  • • Champion best-in-class sales hygiene: accurate forecasting in CRM, timely reporting, transparent pricing, and adherence to compliance standards that protect both client and company interests.
  • • Leverage analytics dashboards and attribution studies to prove campaign effectiveness, iterate on creative and targeting strategies, and secure larger budgets in subsequent quarters.
  • • Represent JioStar at industry forums, client summits, and networking events, building a powerful personal brand that opens doors and accelerates deal velocity.
  • • Mentor junior team members informally by sharing pitch decks, negotiation tactics, and market feedback, thereby elevating the overall capability of the mid-market squad.
  • • Stay ahead of the curve on emerging ad-tech, content formats, and consumer behavior shifts—translating these insights into first-mover advantage proposals for your clients.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4–6 years of proven success in digital or cross-platform advertising sales, preferably within the media, entertainment, or FMCG categories.
  • • Bachelor’s or Post-Graduate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder ecosystems—clients, agencies, internal teams—with minimal supervision.
  • • Strong command of data and analytics; comfortable building ROI models and presenting insights that influence C-level decision makers.
  • • Expertise in consultative selling and key-account management principles; track record of exceeding revenue quotas.
  • • Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with fluency in English and at least one regional Indian language.
