Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Senior Federal Account Executive at Pluralsight, you will own and grow a strategic portfolio of U.S. Federal Civilian agencies, driving revenue through complex, multi-year pursuits and simplified acquisitions while shaping market requirements and displacing incumbents with Pluralsight’s industry-leading technology upskilling platform. This role is pivotal to Pluralsight’s Federal Civilian market expansion, offering high visibility, significant impact, and a clear path to larger task order opportunities as the practice scales.
- • Day to day, you will: build and maintain C-level and SES relationships across program offices and agency CIO organizations; shape requirements ahead of market cycles and leverage Pluralsight’s platform to displace incumbents and expand within strategic accounts; partner with dedicated Solutions Engineers, channel partners, and systems integrator primes (e.g., Booz Allen, Leidos, Deloitte Federal, Accenture Federal) to execute with precision across the full federal procurement lifecycle; develop and manage pre-solicitation pipelines through RFI responses, Industry Days, and requirements shaping activities; navigate both simplified acquisitions and complex, multi-stakeholder deals using GWAC vehicles (SEWP, CIO-SP3, Alliant), OTAs, and GSA Schedule; apply MEDDPICC or equivalent qualification methodologies to government sales cycles; and balance short-cycle wins with long-term, high-value pursuits based on deal complexity and timing.
- • You will join a mission-driven, high-performing Public Sector team committed to advancing technology skill development across government. Pluralsight is making a meaningful investment in the Federal Civilian market, and this role sits at the forefront of that buildout — collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver impact that strengthens national technological readiness while fostering a culture of inclusion, continuous learning, and team-first accountability.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in federal sales strategy, refine your ability to align technology value propositions with OMB mandates like Zero Trust Architecture and Cloud Smart, and master complex government procurement vehicles. You’ll have the opportunity to shape Pluralsight’s go-to-market approach in a high-growth vertical, influence product positioning through customer insights, and advance your career as a trusted advisor to federal leaders driving workforce modernization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of enterprise SaaS or technology sales experience, with at least 5 years focused on U.S. Federal Civilian agencies
- • Proven track record of quota attainment on complex, multi-stakeholder federal deals
- • Deep knowledge of federal procurement including GSA Schedule, GWACs (SEWP, CIO-SP3, Alliant), OTAs, and simplified acquisition procedures
- • Experience engaging across the full federal authority structure: Program Managers, Contracting Officers, CIOs, and CISOs
- • Ability to build and manage pre-solicitation pipeline through RFI responses, Industry Days, and requirements shaping
- • Comfort operating across broad deal ranges, knowing when to move quickly vs. invest in long-cycle pursuits
- • Strong command of MEDDPICC or equivalent qualification methodology applied to government sales cycles
- • Existing senior relationships at key civilian agencies (HHS, DHS, GSA, DoT, DoE, Treasury)
- • Experience co-selling with or alongside systems integrators (Booz Allen, Leidos, Deloitte Federal, Accenture Federal)
- • Familiarity with OMB mandates including Zero Trust Architecture and Cloud Smart, and ability to connect them to technology value
- • Background selling workforce development, technical skills, or learning solutions into the federal market
- • Prior experience with cooperative purchasing vehicles and channel ecosystems across SLED and Higher Education
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive compensation with annual base + variable range of $256,000 - $320,000 USD, plus bonus eligibility
- • Comprehensive medical coverage, unlimited PTO, wellness reimbursement, and professional development funds
- • Mission-driven work shaping the future of tech upskilling and delivering impact that matters in government and beyond
- • Culture of inclusion, belonging, and continuous learning where you can take on new challenges and grow with purpose
- • Blended work environment supporting collaboration, flexibility, and connection across teams
- • Opportunity to work remotely with required on-site collaboration (Tuesday–Thursday) if within 45 miles of Westlake/Dallas, TX office
