  • • Conduct comprehensive financial audits across multiple business entities, reviewing financial statements, general ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable records to identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, and reporting inconsistencies.
  • • Determine root causes of financial irregularities and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with internal standards and accounting best practices.
  • • Evaluate and optimize financial workflows across multiple companies, developing standardized financial reporting processes and internal controls to improve operational efficiency.
  • • Improve month-end and year-end close procedures by streamlining tasks, reducing manual errors, and increasing timeliness of financial closures.
  • • Utilize QuickBooks for accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting, ensuring accurate data entry and system integrity across all entities.
  • • Develop financial models, forecasts, and reports using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets to support budgeting, cash flow planning, and strategic decision-making.
  • • Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including vendor invoice processing, payment scheduling, and reconciliation of liabilities.
  • • Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including customer billing, collections tracking, and reconciliation of receivables.
  • • Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of all financial accounts, maintaining data integrity across departments and business systems.
  • • Hire, train, and manage bookkeeping personnel, providing ongoing oversight to ensure quality control over financial data entry and reporting.
  • • Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for bookkeeping and financial processes to ensure consistency and scalability.
  • • Prepare detailed financial reports for executive leadership, translating complex financial data into actionable insights for strategic planning.
  • • Analyze financial performance across multiple business units to identify risks, opportunities, and areas for operational improvement.
  • • Partner with executive leadership to align financial operations with broader business objectives and growth initiatives.
  • • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax professionals to support compliance, audits, and regulatory reporting.
  • • Maintain financial data integrity across all systems and ensure all reporting is timely, accurate, and actionable.
  • • Drive financial transformation by building scalable systems that enhance reporting accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and optimize accounting operations.
  • • Support the transition of high-performing analysts into leadership roles such as Financial Controller or Head of Finance.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, auditing, or corporate finance
  • • Experience conducting financial audits and reconciling complex financial data
  • • Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets
  • • Experience overseeing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
  • • Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
  • • Leadership experience managing bookkeeping teams and developing SOPs
