📋 Description

• Build and maintain a pipeline of top-tier financial modeling professionals in India, specifically targeting candidates from investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, equity research, valuation, structured finance, project finance, and FP&A roles.
• Recruit candidates exclusively from established Indian financial outsourcing firms including Acuity, TresVista, Evalueserve, Aranca, Copal Amba, SG Analytics, CRISIL, EXL, and global institutions such as JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, and BlackRock.
• Screen candidates for technical proficiency in financial modeling, including knowledge of DCF, LBO, M&A, three-statement modeling, and sector-specific models used in real estate, credit, and structured finance.
• Evaluate candidate backgrounds to determine fit for U.S.-based client roles, ensuring alignment with functional distinctions between investment banking, equity research, credit analysis, and quantitative finance.
• Conduct initial recruiter interviews to assess communication skills, professional experience, compensation expectations, and cultural fit for remote U.S. teams.
• Negotiate compensation packages with Indian finance professionals, leveraging understanding of local market rates and U.S. client budget constraints.
• Maintain accurate and detailed candidate records in Ashby, including notes on skills, past employers, interview feedback, and pipeline status.
• Develop and sustain long-term relationships with high-quality finance professionals to ensure a consistent, scalable talent pipeline.
• Understand and articulate the differences between key finance functions such as investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, project finance, and FP&A to effectively match candidates with client needs.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, managing end-to-end recruitment cycles for financial modeling roles without reliance on team support.
• Ensure all recruitment activities align with client requirements and maintain strict confidentiality regarding candidate and client information.
• Operate within a remote, contractor-based structure with full responsibility for managing time zones, communication, and deliverables without employee benefits.
• Maintain a minimum of 3–4 hours of daily overlap with U.S. Pacific Time to facilitate coordination with U.S.-based clients and internal teams.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality candidate placements on a month-to-month engagement basis, with compensation paid in USD via Deel.com.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years recruiting finance professionals in India
• Previous experience recruiting for investment banking, private equity, hedge funds, valuation, equity research, structured finance, or project finance
• Strong understanding of financial modeling roles and associated technical skills
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Experience negotiating compensation with Indian finance professionals
• Comfortable working independently
