Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • As a Senior Fintech Strategy & Operations Manager at Savvy Insurance Services, Inc., you will design and scale the operating backbone of a fast-growing, technology-enabled wealth management business, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional advisor and client experiences across the introducing broker-dealer entity.
  • • You will own and evolve the operating model for Savvy’s broker-dealer, including service, supervision support, onboarding, maintenance, trading, and money movement, while collaborating closely with Engineering, Product, and Advisory teams to drive innovation through automation and AI-powered solutions.
  • • You will map, redesign, and standardize core workflows such as client onboarding, KYC/AML, suitability, Reg BI, trading, rebalancing, cash management, billing, client service requests, advisor transitions, and rep onboarding to remove friction and create a seamless "one firm" experience for advisors and clients.
  • • You will establish and manage day-to-day broker-dealer operations, partner with Engineering and Product teams to implement platform improvements, work with the CCO and FINOP to ensure FINRA compliance, maintain supervisory procedures (WSPs), and ensure seamless integration between clearing firm systems, CRM, portfolio tools, and compliance systems.
  • • You will translate operational needs into product/engineering roadmaps, lead tech stack adoption, identify automation opportunities using AI-assisted workflows (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude, analytics copilots), and define and monitor operational KPIs and SLAs including cycle times, error rates, NIGO rates, service quality, advisor satisfaction, and cost-to-serve.
  • • You will implement strong operational controls and vendor oversight across custodians, clearing firms, and third-party providers, thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, ambiguous environment, and leverage your operator instincts to rebuild workflows, reduce cycle time and error rates, and drive measurable operational improvements in a regulated fintech setting.
  • • Savvy is at a pivotal growth stage, having surpassed $5.1B in AUM in under three years and grown 600%+ in the last 18 months, backed by $105M+ from top-tier investors including Thrive Capital, Index Ventures, and Canvas Ventures, with a team of repeat founders and operators from Airbnb, Square, Brex, Carta, Facebook, and $200B+ RIAs.
  • • You will join a mission-driven team modernizing human financial advice through an advisor-centric platform that leverages AI-powered software, automated sales and marketing, and seamless back-office workflows to help advisors scale and spend more time with clients.
  • • You will work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment where your expertise in financial services operations and regulated environments will directly impact the scalability and compliance of Savvy’s broker-dealer operations.
  • • You will have the opportunity to build deep domain expertise in FINRA broker-dealer operations while shaping the future of wealth management technology through automation, measurement, and continuous improvement.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5-8 years of progressive operations experience in fintech, financial services, or other regulated environments, with direct exposure to broker-dealer operating models preferred.
  • • Strong understanding of FINRA broker-dealer operations and the ability to quickly build deeper domain expertise.
  • • Proven operator instincts: experience personally rebuilding workflows, reducing cycle time and error rates, and driving measurable operational improvements.
  • • Hands-on experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams in a startup or high-growth fintech environment, comfortable translating business problems into scalable systems and automation initiatives.
  • • Excellent cross-functional communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and often ambiguous environment.
  • • Extensive experience using third-party tools to power operations, including leveraging AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT/Claude, analytics copilots, automation) to speed up research, synthesis, and operational workflows.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Competitive salary and equity package
  • • Unlimited PTO + paid company holidays
  • • Access to holistic medical, dental, and vision plans
  • • Company 401(k), Commuter, and HSA/FSA plans
  • • NYC office in the heart of Manhattan
  • • Lunch and snacks provided in the office
  • • Access to virtual mental health care (Spring Health), vision-related benefits (XP Health), and health concierge (Rightway)
  • • Access to counseling for stress management, dependent care, nutrition, fitness, legal, and financial issues (Guardian WorkLifeMatters EAP)
