📋 Description

• As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer at Ciroos Inc., you will serve as the technical vanguard for enterprise customers, deploying and optimizing the AI SRE Teammate in complex production environments while directly influencing product roadmap and customer success.
• Day to day, you will implement and tune AI-powered investigation workflows, integrate Ciroos with customer observability and ticketing systems (e.g., Datadog, ServiceNow, Slack), lead enterprise migrations from legacy AIOps platforms, conduct post-incident reviews, and own end-to-end customer implementations from discovery through hypercare.
• You will join a seed-stage AI SRE startup founded in 2025 by experienced executives and engineers with deep expertise in observability, AI, and distributed systems, backed by $21M in seed funding and headquartered in Pleasanton, CA with operations in India.
• In this role, you will develop deep expertise in AI-driven SRE, shape product direction through field learnings, build reusable deployment patterns, and grow as a trusted technical advisor to senior engineering leaders at Fortune 500 companies.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 6 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar operational role, including technical leadership or end-to-end ownership of customer-facing delivery
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java)
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes, infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible), and CI/CD pipelines
• Intimately familiar with Generative AI, ML concepts and technologies, with active use of AI tools for personal productivity
• Strong hands-on experience with observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Datadog, Prometheus), ITSM/ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow), and incident management/response systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose complex systems, including writing and debugging alert-correlation logic and regular expressions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative mindset
• Track record of independently owning enterprise implementations end-to-end, managing timelines, deliverables, and customer syncs with strong outcomes
