- • As a Senior FP&A Analyst at Anytime Mailbox Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and operational excellence within a dynamic, high-growth, recurring revenue marketplace. This position transcends traditional financial reporting, demanding a deep understanding of our subscription platform's economics, a keen eye for protecting gross margin, and a proactive approach to scaling our two-sided marketplace that connects customers with operators.
- • You will be the primary owner of the monthly financial reporting cycle, with an intense focus on Revenue, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and critical unit economics. This is a high-visibility role that requires you to expertly translate complex Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) and marketplace metrics into clear, actionable insights for executive leadership, enabling informed strategic decision-making.
- • Your responsibilities will include leading the comprehensive month-end reporting package, meticulously integrating Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) financials with key SaaS and marketplace performance indicators such as Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR), Churn Rate, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), and Average Revenue Per User (ARPU).
- • A crucial aspect of your role will be to reconcile Revenue and Operator Fees, ensuring the utmost accuracy in all financial reporting and analysis. You will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing dashboards that provide real-time tracking of subscription health, cohort behavior, and evolving margin trends.
- • You will closely monitor subscription revenue recognition across various plans, geographical locations, and service offerings, ensuring compliance and optimizing revenue capture.
- • A significant focus will be placed on analyzing Operator Fees, which are integral to our Cost of Revenue, with the objective of protecting and strategically scaling our Gross Margin.
- • You will be tasked with tracking key performance indicators like Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Lifetime Value (LTV), payback period, and contribution margin, segmented by acquisition channel and operator type, to understand profitability drivers.
- • Building and maintaining renewal cohort models will be essential for monitoring retention rates, expansion opportunities, and identifying key churn drivers, providing foresight into customer lifetime value and loyalty.
- • You will provide robust support for budget versus actual analysis, delivering clear and concise variance commentary that explains performance deviations and informs future planning.
- • Leading rolling forecasts and actively supporting the annual budgeting process will be core duties, ensuring financial plans are aligned with strategic objectives and market realities.
- • You will be responsible for drafting the monthly and quarterly financial review packages presented to the board of directors, requiring strong presentation and communication skills.
- • Ad-hoc reporting and in-depth financial analysis will be required as business needs arise, demanding flexibility and a proactive problem-solving approach.
