đź“‹ Description
- • Join a dynamic and product-focused SaaS organization as a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer, contributing to a thriving ecosystem of over 10 in-house B2C digital products. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a company that exclusively builds and scales its own offerings, free from the constraints of outsourcing or external client demands. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the infrastructure that underpins the development, optimization, and scaling of this internal product portfolio, ensuring maximum speed, unwavering reliability, and seamless scalability for multiple fast-moving product squads.
- • As a key member of the Platform & Infrastructure team, you will be instrumental in designing, automating, and operating the core infrastructure that empowers engineering teams. Your expertise will directly influence the speed, security, and reliability with which our products are delivered to users. This role demands a proactive and collaborative approach, working hand-in-hand with fellow DevOps engineers, Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), and product developers to construct robust, scalable, and developer-friendly systems.
- • A significant aspect of your responsibility will involve the design and meticulous management of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, with a primary focus on GitHub Actions. You will be responsible for ensuring these pipelines are efficient, secure, and capable of supporting rapid iteration and deployment cycles across various product teams.
- • You will implement and maintain our infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, with a strong emphasis on Terraform. This involves developing, testing, and deploying infrastructure configurations that are version-controlled, repeatable, and auditable, ensuring consistency and reducing manual errors across our AWS environment.
- • A core function of this role is the operation and continuous optimization of our Amazon Web Services (AWS)-based Kubernetes (EKS) clusters. You will manage the lifecycle of these clusters, ensuring high availability, performance, and security, while also exploring and implementing best practices for container orchestration.
- • Automation will be at the heart of your work. You will automate critical processes such as application deployments, the setup and teardown of testing environments, and the implementation of sophisticated rollback workflows to ensure swift and safe recovery in case of issues.
- • You will be responsible for integrating and maintaining comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions. This includes working with tools like Prometheus for metrics, Sentry for error tracking, Groundcover for observability, and potentially others, to provide deep insights into system health and performance, enabling proactive issue detection and resolution.
- • Troubleshooting infrastructure issues and actively supporting incident response will be a crucial part of your day-to-day activities. You will be expected to diagnose complex problems, implement effective solutions, and contribute to post-incident reviews to prevent recurrence.
- • You will play a vital role in improving our GitOps workflows and overall delivery pipelines. This involves leveraging Git as the single source of truth for infrastructure and application configuration, ensuring a streamlined and auditable deployment process.
- • Collaboration with the Quality Assurance (QA) team is essential. You will work closely with QA engineers to integrate automated testing tools and frameworks directly into our deployment pipelines, ensuring that quality is built-in from the start and that deployments are thoroughly validated before reaching production.
- • Contributing to the development and maintenance of platform documentation and onboarding materials is also a key responsibility. This ensures that knowledge is shared effectively within the engineering teams and that new members can quickly understand and utilize the platform infrastructure.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to work on products with significant global traffic, contributing directly to their success and scalability. You will be part of a stable, focused, and product-centric environment where your contributions are highly valued and directly impact the company's growth and innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Platform Engineering roles, demonstrating a strong track record of success in building and managing complex infrastructure.
- • Extensive hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in production environments, including a deep understanding of core services relevant to scalable and resilient infrastructure.
- • Profound knowledge of Kubernetes, including Helm for packaging and management, and a solid grasp of container orchestration principles and best practices.
- • Proven, practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform, or comparable alternatives, for managing cloud resources programmatically.
- • Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitHub Actions, or similar platforms, for automating build, test, and deployment pipelines.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Secure a long-term, full-time position with a commitment of 40 hours per week, offering stability and consistent engagement.
- • Enjoy 22 paid vacation days annually, in addition to all local public holidays, ensuring ample time for rest and rejuvenation.
- • Embrace a fully remote work arrangement, with the flexibility to work from anywhere within European time zones, promoting work-life balance and geographical freedom.
- • Benefit from flexible working hours, allowing you to structure your day between 7 AM and 6 PM CET, accommodating personal needs and peak productivity times.
- • Gain invaluable experience working on high-traffic, global digital products, contributing to impactful and widely used applications.
