  • • As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will take ownership of the long-term and annual planning processes. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify new business opportunities, evaluate strategic investments, and optimize our workforce to ensure scalability and sustained growth. Your analytical prowess will be crucial in developing robust financial models that support these strategic initiatives, allowing us to make informed decisions that propel Second Nature forward.
  • • A core responsibility will be to drive the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecasts. You will meticulously analyze topline metrics, expenses, and headcount plans, identifying potential opportunities and risks. Your insights will be presented to senior management, enabling them to navigate financial landscapes effectively and make proactive adjustments to achieve our financial targets. This includes developing detailed financial models and scenario analyses to support these forecasts.
  • • You will be tasked with ensuring the business has a clear understanding of its performance against its stated commitments. This involves proactively analyzing financial results, identifying variances, and providing clear, concise explanations to stakeholders. Your ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights will be vital for driving accountability and performance across the organization.
  • • Furthermore, you will play a key role in analyzing, forecasting, and operationalizing growth initiatives. This requires close collaboration with partners across the organization, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations. By understanding their priorities and challenges, you will help translate strategic goals into financial plans and provide the analytical support needed to act decisively and achieve stakeholder objectives.
  • • A significant aspect of this role involves partnering closely with the Controller’s team. Your collaboration will be essential for ensuring a smooth and efficient month-end close and reporting process. By streamlining workflows and improving reporting accuracy, you will help reduce the time to close and accelerate the delivery of actionable financial reports to the business, enabling faster decision-making.
  • • You will also contribute to the preparation of quarterly investor relations materials. This involves synthesizing financial performance data, developing key messaging, and ensuring that our financial narrative is compelling and accurate for our investors. Your ability to communicate financial performance effectively to external stakeholders will be highly valued.
  • • The role extends to providing world-class business partner support to our Customer Success and Marketing functions. You will act as a trusted advisor, providing financial analysis, insights, and guidance to help these teams optimize their strategies, budgets, and performance. This includes developing KPIs, analyzing campaign effectiveness, and supporting resource allocation decisions.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management, or a related field.
  • • 3-5 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or a similar financial analysis role.
  • • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting, coupled with strong PowerPoint skills for presentation development.
  • • Experience with financial systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, and other relevant ERP or reporting applications.
